I was there. He is one artist I saw several times. I had all his albums and 45's from the 80's. He was one of my favorites. I miss those more innocent times when I was younger and didn't know about all the sadness and evilness in the world. However I feel with the bad their are more good people than bad. It just seems that only the bad ones rule countries.

He was such a beautiful soul! He showed it through his music, his performances, and his works. I've always lived him, and always will.

I've spent my entire afternoon watching Prince videos, some of the best time I've ever spent. You are dearly missed, may you be resting in bliss .

Prince, J.Cocker, J.Brown, Ray, Otis Redding, M.Gaye, M.Jackson were true artists who's influence will never and cant ever be surpassed by today's "talent". They were true masters in the art of music. Today's "talent" are 25% music, 25% studio produced, 50% social media buzz. They just don't make them like they used to.

Toni Peterson I cry inside because of how this would hurt him. He was private, they should let his mistakes go to that place of peace with him. It was only our job to love him for the wonderful man and artist he was. I always keep in mind "he did it for us, to see us smile and dance and be happy. +Amarie Perhaps when he first began maybe he did drugs but I strongly believe that he continued. He does not drink or smoke, he was always healthy. So these drug rumors are false. I am sure he was killed because he started speaking the truth and opening up doors he should'nt. He certainly was an incredible artist. He made my childhood, I grew up listening to him and had a blessed chance of watching him live in concert. He certainly was an incredible human being.

You will be missed prince. Thank you for sharing you phenomenal talent with the world. God created a beautiful person inside and out. To his family and close friends earth has no sorrow that heaven can't here. His music really inspires all corners of the world.

Prince gave concerts at SJSU for $20-$10 per ticket for students and the students came in droves. I was fortunate to be there attending. Thank you Prince for giving us students at the time the opportunity to see and hear your amazing talent!!! RIP💕

I lost my older brother to cancer almost 3 years ago. He was a guitarist/singer/songwriter who, among other things, performed after the funeral service for Jimi Hendrix. The last time I saw my brother was the day before he died. I was standing at his deathbed, singing to him, and reading from 1 John. Standing by my side was my earliest childhood friend, Jonathan. Back in 1984, Jonathan was working for Prince when he made 'Purple Rain'. He was there for that. The last thing I said to my brother alive was the opening line to The Righteous Brothers' "Rock N Roll Heaven". True story!

Probley had a premonition people sometimes do.RIP my Prince.You will be missed.

I was so blessed to see Prince in concert twice. The very first concert was Prince...The Time...and Vanity 6!..What a concert!..My brother and sisters and a family friend had fantastic seats and I kid you not..Prince looked right at us when he was performing and we acknowledged him...He smiled and my brother and sister and one of our closes friends..We died! ..We couldn't believe how amazing that moment was!..And we were back again when he had his LoveSexy concert! ....Dying all over again...we were seeing our idol!...We love you Prince! ..RIP BEAUTIFUL ONE

He had arthritis in his hands so bad. And his poor feet and hips from giving up his body to entertain us as we expected. It very sad. Or he was secretly retiring. He definitely knew he was leaving the spotlight or the world. If he was planning a secret retirement, I can see him being very emotional about it knowing he was leaving his fans and how sad everyone would be.

I've never ever been one to cry over a celebrity that is until the night the news came on and said "Prince" has passed! My heart sunk I felt a ache of disbelief so much so I waited and changed channels, yes our Prince Roger Nelson was gone! I then broke down in tears cried like a baby as if he had been a family member, then I realized he was a family member to me and others my age who grew and evolved with him, his music,his beliefs, his religion most of all his privacy! I doubt I'll ever get over the fact that he is gone! It led me to think that these stars should do a I'M alive ceremony were we fans come out to celebrate there lives while there living , that they should WITNESS the love there fans have for them! If only Prince saw what we witnessed, the purple towers,bridges,fans just the share love! I know strike that, I BELIEVE HE TO WOULD OF CRIED FROM THE OUT POUR OF LOVE! They should now not only make paisley a museum but have instrumental lessons there as well, being Prince was so adamant on children and people in general knowing how to play a instrument! I am with him on that for today is tomorrow's future and although some technology is great we still shouldn't loose sight on the feel of knowledge and as this world is growing more and more dependent on technology as well as robotic essentially we will loose all knowledge of what was the birth of wanting to play in a band,orchestra as well as sing in a school choir! They say in Prince's religion that he will be reborn, if so I'm sure he'll be someone bigger than life as he was here on earth to which we all witnessed a pure genius ! Rest in Peace Prince many of blessings as I look up at the sky I will try to find your star, I'LL be looking for the uniquely glittered twinkle as well as a star moving with moss code for I know you'll be speaking from above if those of us believe we will see you again! ♡ look @ you all proof of how one Prince was and will remain loved, you people are so beautiful Prince's family I should say being the out pour of love is just so overwhelmingly just! So, what are you'll thoughts on now media peeps tainting him with the addiction card unfolding? For myself I feel those things should not be our business were is the celeb's right's to some privacy AWWW Addiction is an illness the plain facts are there I say let sleeping dogs lie, let us mourn as well as leave death details with Prince and his family! He gave us all so much of himself his body needed rest. Drugs can start off being helpful but overtime the dependence over time takes over. I'm grateful of his life & that I was able to receive what he gave. RIP
