Uske bina toh duniya hi khatam hai. | etne log toh wireless charging wala phone bhi use nhi krte, and krte bhi hai toh cars me etna slow "wireless charging" ata ki owner din bhar ki tour maar le toh bhi phone full charge naa ho. auto Day - night IRVM is worth mentioning but what is the fuss about wireless charging!!

Same with paddle shifters. Zero use. U use it for fun for 2 to 3 times at the most and forget about it coz u Don't need it in an automatic car anyways, and if u wanna do a rapid overtake then u can manually change the gears with the gear box itself ( which is a rare case in itself).

Drove all the SUVs of Segement and finally decided Astor and now I'm happiest person in the world because in evey bit from pricing to features, saftey ans eeeeeeverything Astor beasts all the cars Saying from ❤❤ astor is worth waiting than all other car in segement. Only ? Was about the milege but that too has solved because easily getting 14 iny 8 speed CVT.

you know what? Astor doesn't have the aluminum coating in its hood and its lower bumper part for insulation the door of astor has scratchy plastic with very cheap quality metal and when accelerating the engine doesn't give sudden rush when you press the accelerator and if you even dive astor in 90km you feel like you are in more than 109km the winds noice and all just ,and its sunroof sheet is of really poor quality and that gimmicky robot which is good for gimmicks mg knows how to fool Indians, they just look for insulation hood in engine bay not other things like aluminum sheet and all and taigun also get a sponge for insulation and its insulation is much better than had feard of the1literse tsi only when you reach around 4500rpm which is sufficient the insulation is not at all bad and the 1.5 would be much better.

@@Cyrax210 U were right.But its quite comfy if u drive normally and not a fun boy.The back of taigun is so irritating.Khusaq is best all rounder in that case.

I bought the Astor 220 Automatic in January and its run 6500 km till. I really like the comfort and drive of this car but the problem is the mileage of this car, I have spent 75000 rs fuel till now. It's giving only 10 to 11 Kmpl economical average.

Car dekho , one mistake, astor has a air purifer inbuilt, so its not an unique feature of creta. Also, u forgot to add that astor is a 5 star rated car in global ncap and creta is not. And one last thing is control. I have test drived every car in this segment and astor is best in controlling ur car. Also, i don't really agree with ur verdict of astor having uncomfortable seats. Anyways, thanks for the video. And btw i forgot to add one thing, u provided wrong info about width too. astor is the widest of all

I am an Astor owner and I see the flaws first hand as mentioned in this video. Although I agree with the details, I feel it is a four seater as well. There's no light in the back amongst the other drawbacks of the car. But, versus the other two - the build and ride quality is far superior. It doesn't rattle like the older MG hector also. Either way, it is a good video. I see all three with new light.

Astor stands out and is a desirable suv because of impressive looks

Astor base variant price is under 10 lakhs and its feature loaded

When we drive a car on road whether its a highway or traffic or broken roads.. what do we care about the most.. 1. Driving performance ; the drive should be smooth, no jerks on bad roads, minimum engine noise, good steering control, fast and linear accelaration, good control over corners, minimum body roll and adequate power when driving fast and when going uphill and finally good braking. 2. Comfortable seating for driver and other passengers; good leg and head space 3. Adequate boot space 4. Good all round visibility Thereafter comes important features like 1. Powerful AC, headlights, cabin lights, reverse camera, parking sensors 2. Safety features, airbags, etc Finally comes style related (DRLs, rain sensing vipers, voice command activated features) and tech related features. They are the least important when driving on the road. They are good only when the car is new...after 1 month nobody uses them. Infact they are more of a distraction than of actual use.

The bootspace results were really surprising....never thought kushaq would be this practical(considering it has a bootspace of.only 385litres)....like the old saying,never judge a book by its cover😄

@@vandeybharat1134 The engine specs are similar to what creta /seltos offer.Its just the power to weight ratios that might be causing a litlle lag. It is very much satisfactory. Yes you might have to downshift at times while overtaking else its pretty refined and a capable engine. The kushaq/taigun offer a more powerful engine in this segment.

Very good review.I think inclusion of Nissan kicks would be good.

I’m not sure why people don’t talk about build quality in their review, it is actually a decision maker for me. I booked Seltos earlier but later went for booking Astor considering build quality and rich features like ADAS, albeit there are few basic misses like seat ventilation, telescopic steering adjust, wireless charging.

Every one of us knows that traffic is becoming an ever-increasing pain. It does not matter how quick your manual gearbox responds or how reliable it is when you get stuck in a huge traffic jam and suffer excruciating pain in your left leg constantly depressing the clutch. If you'll be driving more in heavy city traffic then we suggest you opt for Automatic Transmission which is easier to use and more comfortable for the driver, while Manual Transmission vehicles are less expensive more involved & are more fun to drive on highways.

yeah even the monte carlo has massive plasticky bits inside, at this point they are basically trying to rely on their 5star build and [not quite made for India] DSG! Let's be frank it is just enough to not make the Kodiaq obsolete!

Astor doesn't have rear window shades because it's a drivers car and not a chauffeur driven car! It has created a place in this segment with its unique features and attractive look! Astor is a fresh car all together!

I know it's a matter which is not given emphasis but it does make a lot of difference! Kushaq 1.5 is great option but 1.0 is not good for a car of that size! I don't doubt the German handling.

@@prakashparadisee 1.0 is turbo petrol which have similar power to that of 1.5 &1.6 naturally aspirated and true adas is not gimmick it’s a great feature but adas is not for drivers delight it’s for safety and in indian city drive adas sometime sucks i have driven xuv 700 and adas irritates sometime in city well not mahindras or adas fault (i believe adas should be mandatory in all cars) but drive 1.0 tsi as well and compare it with astor u will feel the difference

@@rohanjaiswal3418 XUV 700 has autonomous level 1 while Astor has level 2 Tesla is at 4 XUV adas can't be compared with Astor's it's much better! I agree about 1 litre turbo being similar to 1.5 natural aspirated. I have driven 1.3 turbo Astor and i have driven 1.0 liter turbo Kushaq.. the 1.5 is a gem engine and very smooth!

Car manufacturers should look into following things : 1)Tpms with temp very basic thing but much necessary should be standard in all varients 2) min 4 airbags along with good quality of sheet metal 3) smooth engine transmission with balanced power 4) auto irvm,min blindspot or blindspot detection 5) dashboard should be always light in color usase heat kam hogi 6) seat comfort/ventilated seats And at last honest after sales service.. Bas baki sab gimmik he but these things should be standard..

Wrong information Astor has more width than Creta but Anchor said Creta has more width than Astor which is 1809 in width compare to 1790 of Creta. Three people in Creta and Astor same, Creta can't be given better for three people. Astor has way more features which Anchor missed like Heated ORVM, Hill Descent, lid cover on backseat hand rest which Creta or Kushaq don't have, biggest sunroof in the segment, also Anchor said Astor height is less again wrong Astor is tallest in the segment with 1650 mm to Creta's 1635 and Kushaq's 1612. Anchor pointed Creta's sun shade as a big plus while not even mentioning Astor's break assist, 360 Degree Camera which other two dont have. Adaptive Cruise Control is a huge feature Astor has which other two dont have but not mentioned by Anchor, led projector, rain sensing wiper. Cornoring light few very good features which Astor has other two dont have. Seems the comparison was more about what Creta has and playing down what Creta doesn't have over what Astor doesn't have underplaying what Astor has :) ADAS alone is enough to make Astor best in the segment but it was mentioned like a normal feature by Anchor. It seems even before the video was made the channel had decided Creta is the winner. Doesn't look like a good comparison.

@@mridulkasliwal thanks loving my Astor which I got on Jan 05 :) Car is very good and getting so much compliments for it on the road and by my friends/families. choices are subjective. Those who buy creata/kushaq/taiguan are right in their own ways like those who buy Astor are right in their decision too. So, its all about personal choice.

after watching the review, in my thought Astor is a fair and pretty good deal then other two, it is low cost plus offering great cabin and specification then the other. rest talking abot the rear seats, that was with every car. so we clearly can ignore that point. Astor is good value for money IMO.

@@Cyrax210 1) aluminium coating is not present in many cars and it does not effects much unless you have a diesel car 2) astor has scratchy plastic only in that area , rest of the two car have whole cabin of scratchy plastics 3) 1.3 turbo engine is very very fast ... maybe you are talking about 1.5 NA then 1.5 NA of any of the compact suv wont give you sudden acceleration 4) sunroof sheet is made of a material which reflects light , cabin wont heat up in any case 5) the robot is there just for the feel good factor it does not has any practical usage ... if you are talking about gimmicks then creta is the most gimmicky car in the segment

@@tanmaysinha9632 who told you that aluminum coating is not important even if its diesel car or a petrol car its really important for you engine life and your lowing down your engine sound because it absorbs all the heat produced by the engine and helps for carbon emissions too after all if its a diesel or petrol it's a motor aluminum coating is really important especially astor is a turbo car and turbo cars get heated really quick and aluminum coating is must for a turbo car for its reliability and its NVH levels.2)actually i think you haven't driven taigun because you are saying it has scratchy plastic actually it's not the case the plastic is scratchless try to scratch taiguns dashboard plastic it doesn't scratch at all.3)i was talking about 1.3 turbo and i highly disagree with you that its fast rather you are from a low powered engine car or from a too soft suspensioned car because astors 1.3 turbo is not entertaining at all I cannot feel the horses in the numbers at real-world it's not quick to respond its torque converter is smooth but not quick you don't have that seat push back feel in astor and its not at all a drivers car the suspension is pathetic thus the steering feedback is 4)useless things are called gimmick mr .

Astor turbo is absolutely best.

I test drove all. Kushaq interiors is very shoddy and has a cheaper feel. The dust from roof fiber is all over . Very cheap quality sunroof and claddings on roofing interior. Engine is good as usual TSI. Astor interior is more like a floating 5 star suite . Ride quality of engine is not that great even with turbo. Creta is good but problem is quality degrades in most Korean cars after few years.

A very good review and I agree with most of the observations presented in this review video. I have driven all 3 cars and I felt when it comes to build quality, ride and handling the Astor is a better all round package than either the Kushaq or Creta. The body of the Kushaq had a creeking sound from around the B pillar area, when the car went over undulations and speedbreakers. That was very unsettling for a car that costs a shade under Rs 20 lakhs. I found the Kushaq's ride slightly uncomfortable over broken roads. Some call it sporty, I call it jittery. Kushaq's cabin doesn't justify the asking price. The Astor felt solid. No creeking and rattling sounds. Ride is very very comfortable and the 1.3 turbo has enough power. Yes there have been stupid omissions like no auto IRVM, no rear roof light, glove box neither illuminated nor cooled etc. The Creta was just boring. Has been around for too long now.

how much Astor paid you to write this comment. Any day Kushaq and Creta is better than Chinese brand which breaks down frequently because of Clutch issues and engine catching fire. There is no driving Dynamics in Astor .

And if you are not paid then you genuinely the biggest moron walking on this planet because it is clear that you have neither seen the Astor in reality nor driven it. Else you wouldn't make a fool of yourself here in this manner. And by the way stop spreading lies about the clutch and about engine fires. There are nothing of the sort reported neither from India nor from Australia, Middle East, New Zealand or England where the Astor is being sold in the exact same configuration as the ZST.

MG Astor is a tech-fest, Many first-in-class equipment and ADAS features are best in terms of Safety like LKA, ACC and SAS (Intelligent mode). I really like Astor over these vehicles.

In terms of Drive quality, engine performance and safety, Kushaq is at top and then Aster and then Creta

Kushaq the best in this Segment in all aspect, real car enthusiast will love this car, turbo engine performance is woow. Also it has solid build quality and road presence of Kushaq gives SUV looks, But Astor gives a hatchback look doesn't give SUV feel.

You must include Nissan kicks turbo. It's a great competitor among these, a powerful and VFM suv.

its door bars are made of cheap and scratchy plastic with low quality steel and the soft touch people say about astor its actually letherite not leather is in some years it will start tearing up and astor doesn't have aluminum coating in the hood and the mud guard part mg knows how to fool indians because they no that if they only give insulation hood indian people will won't doubt it the astor doesn't even has sponge for insulation but people don't have brain while vw just for it didn't gave insulation in hood everyone is is blamming it but actually vw has given every other insulation including they have given than sponge thing t help with insulation level and the aluminium coating too and astor is also good for people who don't have much knowledge about cars check the doors of astor and compare it with taigun its lighter than taigun and the plastics in astor ayhei the worst scratchy the astor accelaration is really poor(talking about 1.3 turbo the 1.5 naturally aspirated will be even poor)the steering is not at all good for high speeds and tc is not too quick to shift and in the astor if you even drive it in 90kmh you will feel like you are in 120kmh and thats really poor who are driving enthusiasts and after this much costcutting any company can bring a leatherite dashboard with a gimmick sussy AI and astor is filled with gimmicky items

@@LearnersNation kushaq is better than Astor if you love driving. 1 litre tsi engine is more powerful than Astor and believe me it's best in segment for that price. Yes Astor provides more features. Now you need to decide what you want. I own taigun highline automatic and I loving the drive 😀

If you give importance to the safety of your family never take Creta and Seltos. Both are KOREAN TIN CANS. Kushaq and Taigun are the safest of the lot and Astor may be safer than the Korean tincans. And if you can wait for one year ,go and book a XUV 700. It is the safest 5 star rated SUV manufactured in India
