I have driven this car and I can bet Seltos and Creta is way better than Astor whether you choose 1.5 NA or 1.4 turbo variant of Seltos and Creta. ADAS features is that great to compromise on engine specs

Commercial drivers apni gaadi CNG pe chalate hain aur do teen lakh Km to aaram se chala lete hain aur unko apni gaadi ke baare main bhi zyada pata bhi hota hai aur practical cheezon ki knowledge hoti hai. Saath ki saath diesel commercial passenger gaadiyon ka bhi review laiye🙏

Base Astor is the most VFM car in the segment. Yesterday I went to checkout Astor, SA said that they are not allowed to book base model Astor anymore. It's way too overbooked.

Sir , I have MG ASTOR SHARP MANUAL VARIENT. Can you please tell and share a vdo regarding water spray nozzle. In my car the spray nozzle water going towards sun roof and moon roof. Please check and reply.

Mileage is something which will set us back from buying this car as our car runs daily over 100 kms (commuting to workplace). We could have given a second thought if a diesel engine was also on offer 🥲

U.S.A me more than 60% accident ADAS ki vajah se ho rahe he. Vaha to lanes bi sahi salamat hoti he fir bi.. Muje lagta he ki gaadio me jitne jyada feachers honge ham utne hi aalsi hote jaenge. Cosmatic feachers agar kam honge to koi fark nahi padta, safety feachers jyada hone chahiye..

I can see the internal smile when MG, hyundai, kia car has problem in his face.

1st of all it is actually a good build car with quality level fit & finish...but don't know why MG don't provide 6th gear in manual variant...did they deliberately done this aur forgot about 6th gear...6 speed gearbox de deta toh kya jata MG ka...iss segment mein sabka 6 speed gearbox ata haay...This is the main down side of Astor...

Radar doesn't detect lanes. There's a camera behind rear view mirror area that detects it 😅 Radar is used for collision warning and prevention and also assists in adaptive cruise control.

Thx for a sensible review, I also have Astor CVT & would like to add few things... first, it does have Android Auto and Apple Car Play but shockingly it does not support many of the Android phones, which has been confirmed by MG Motors also, Second, they have missed reading lights for rear seats which could have been on C pillar....btw I am an Auto Industry veteran.

I drove 1.5 cvt but sorry to say it's slightly slower initially when compared to rival....since you are an auto veteran what's ur opinion on Taigun tsi 1.0 at....I drove it fully loaded and on uphills....found it more exciting and dynamic....

No heating issues. Glass is tinted and ac is powerful.

Ye ADAS feature to badhiya hai par long highway drive me ye fatal hoga. Khali roads par jahan simply cruise hota hai bina clutch-break ke, sleep paralysis hone lagti hai. Abhi jab haath ka bhi use na reh jayega fir to brain bhaisahab bilkul hi so jaya karenge gehri neend me.

Tinted glass which doesn’t let the heat impact the inner cabin. Baaki may june mein pata chalega. Car launched in November so not a good time to comment on that.

Yes its a killer in the 4.3 mts segment with the Most VFM package. I believe because of our Chaotic India traffic & non-discipline driving skills of our countryman Advance features are just waste of money & time. Especially the ADAS, Lane departure system, AI system & Voice Command systems, Auto Headlamps, Auto Rain Sensing Wipers, Pan Sunroof........ etc. Would rather buy Cars without those gimmicks. Buy them when our roads infrastructure becomes top class, Disciple Driving skills with traffic sense, obey all RTO rules, regulations correctly, Pollution free environment,....... Only than it's OK to have those AI features.
