Hello Jennifer and Dustin! Whooaaa....these were some really awesome properties!! Thank you for sharing them! We made it back to Colorado early early this morning; we went ahead and made the drive in 1 day (not sure I'll do that again while towing a travel trailer). It was so sad to leave Tucson. We had a super time there! And then it was even more sad to get back around our area in CO as there are winter storm warnings :-( I really thought about just turning back, getting my wife situated back in the campground in Tucson, and then I just airline back to Colorado when I have to do my next flights on 2 May. Wow..the 3rd house on this video has an absolute incredible view!! I love the distance you are separated by the houses to the rear of that house. It is like having 5acres squeezed into just a city lot. That 4th house is awesome too; just a bit out of my range. That greater Sabino Canyon area was one of our favorite areas. We really loved the matured landscaped yards in that area. So, our overall summary was that we really did enjoy Tucson! I think it has great possibilities to call our next forever home area! Specific areas we liked were Casas Adobes, Oro Valley, the greater Sabino Canyon area, Tanque Verde.....and a singer area of the Forty Niners Golfing area. Of course, in our observations, there are pluses and minuses to each of those particular areas. One factor will be determining what I will be doing when I grow up (i.e. where I'll end up working). If I have to do the once per week drive to the greater Phoenix area, I would not hesitate to move to the Tanque Verde area as that longer drive would only be approximately once per week. Casas Adobes seemed, for our needs, to have that combination of lots with space and houses with enough size to accomplish our tasks (craft room, office, room to absorb a parent, our room, and a dedicated guest room), but also being closer to our budget range. We were in awe to the amount of commerce that was available on the southern part of the Oracle Rd that is in the southern part of Casas Adobes. It is like you could ride a bike to just about all you needed. We also kind of felt that way up in Oro Valley.....awesome views, oodles of commerce, and hardly ever needing to leave that area; as well as Casas Adobes and Oro Valley would give me a decent straight shot up to Phoenix, if I needed that. I do have to admit....my wife ended up making contact with an agent. The back story to that is kind of funny for us. We camped in Palm Springs this time last year. We did leave Colorado with a print out of a mobile home that we were interested in. This led to that.....and we left with a condo that was WAY more expensive than a mobile home; this was to be our wintering place after I quit working. I had slightly railroaded my wife in that she had been curious about Tucson too. Well...I do regret the Palm Springs place now; especially as we have a unified desire to be in Tucson. My guess is we'll end up selling that P.S. place. Anyways, before leaving CO, I asked my wife what features she was looking for in a house. She instantly responded for me to not reach out to any realtors as this was a trip that we were just checking out the area. Based on a recommendation of a friend, we did go to some open houses as that is a great vehicle to explore specific areas, as well as get access to several people to ask questions and such. Well...at house 2, she gave her info hehehe. So...I will continue to support your channel here. My guess is our timeline will be to make a move next year to Tucson. Both of us became interested in just finding a place now and making the move. But, we'll do it the smart way that includes planning the transition out. Plus, it would be super challenging to get our current 136 yr old Mining town house ready to sell. Using my wife's lingo, we will "date" Tucson over this year; we're intending to try to get down there every 3 or 4 months, to include this summer so I can make sure my wife is exposed to the summer challenges.

I'm glad you made it back safely and that you had such a fun and thorough trip here. I am glad you were able to look at some houses to get a feel for things here. Coming back at different times of the year is a great way to get the full feeling of Tucson so that is a great plan. We would still be more than happy to help you when you are ready or if you have any questions in the meantime!
