This kid has so much potential... Naturally gifted with the ball at his feet which is exactly what we need at the moment IMO If we don't get UCL I'm hopeful we don't keep Werner on and get a better option with Santiago getting minutes in rotation.

Him and Jude are our two wonderkids from the youth team. Both will be playing next season for sure

Hope he and a fewof the boys gets loaned out to a championship team next season. I think theyre ready for the next step towards first team football. The future is bright!

He (and the other lads) need loaning to a championship team next season just like were doing with phillips and skipp prior to that. Playing for the U21s is nothing like playing in the lower leagues, so itll be pure madness to put in our first team. They need to progress at a rate thats realistic. So send them out on loan to learn. Look how many times kane was loaned out before making the first team. Ya cant rush a players progress as it can become a hinderance to their progress.

Must be so hard going somewhere hundreds of miles away, not knowing anyone and not even knowing how to communicate with someone. That shows determination and strength, plus he looks like a great player. Get him playing regularly NOW. Im sick of wastemen in the senior sqaud gettinf chances when we have talent like him and others at the club. We need a much better route to get to the first team as it has never really been a thing for us. I bet there is so much talent just sitting here and other clubs not even getting a look in.

How are we letting players like this reach 21 without even having a loan? Surely playing in league 1/2 is way better experience than U23 or U21 football. He's going to end up being 22/23 without ever playing in a real competitive league game before. Scarlett and Parrott are a similar age and at least already got loaned out to get some experience of what it's really like.

The youngsters need loaning out to lower league teams first!! Kane was loaned out to two or three teams before get got his chance as he was nowhere near ready. The youngsters aint there yet, so loan them out as playing regularly in the championship would be a lot better for them than joining our first team to sit on the bench just to come on for a few mins. Dont force them to run before they can even crawl!

Difficult to say if he really is better as you've never seen him play at the senior level. I think he's got more potential than almost anyone else at the club, but he could be getting handled in senior training.

If we were more comfortable in more games we could blood more kids when we're 3-4 goals up, but it hasn't planned out that way often enough to really take that risk.

⁠@@jacklane3679we’ve been comfortably ahead in a few games and didn’t given chances to any youngsters, from what I can think of: 4-0 up against Newcastle, 3-0 up against Bournemouth, 4 or 5-1 up against Burnley, 4-0 against villa and a few comfortable 2-0s early in the season.

@@randomyoutubecommenter2787 I hear you, but that's not a lot of games really and any that haven't been tight we've had a strong senior squad. Only 3 up against Bournemouth for a couple minutes. Two injury time goals v Villa. We did get Donley on against Newcastle. Strong squad early in the season against Burnley and that. When you think about it Donley, Scarlett and Veliz have had a lot of appearances between them, and then VDV, Udogie, Sarr are around that age and mainstays in the squad.
