Go figure 🤷‍♀ Still, tho, the only source does seem to be that one Surrey Comet article, so unless I see some real proof, I'm still skeptical.] I've looked into it, and it seems that's a myth. I've traced the claim back to an article by Surrey Comet, and the article cites zero sources. They just claim that this guy is Marx's descendant. Also, think about it for a sec. How could this guy be Marx's great-great-grandson? Marx was born in 1818 and had children in the 1840s and '50s. Any grandchildren of his would have been born around the 1860s and '70s, great-grandchildren around the 1880s and '90s, and great-great-grandchildren around the 1900s and '10s. Marx's great-great-grandson would have to be at least 100 years old today. This guy either found the Fountain of Youth, or he isn't Marx's great-great-grandson.

@Cicero Progontus Um... by excelling in Arts or Science or Physics or Programming or Engineering or literature or any other beneficial domains. Socialism gives a rough equal income, sure, but not for geniuses and intellectuals, those they give them bigger changes to succeed. After all, USSR was all about meritocracy, so of course you won't be wealthy by working in a farm or factory any other traditional job. You have bigger chances to become wealthy and famous under communism than under capitalism.

@@jensenlopez2944 yes, exactly. Inheritance is one of the big reasons Capitalism is so destructive. A 100% tax on inheritance and profit would solve a good chunk of problems. But Capitalism is a cancer, and only partially curing cancer is insanity. It must be destroyed.
