Nice to hear. Pilotwings 64 was a bit disappointing to me, so as Excitebike 64 isn't super cheap I probably wouldn't have got it. But now I might, if I come across it!

I have a lot of good memories playing Excite Bike 64 with my friends back in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Loved this game back in the day. Got me right in the feels with this one.

Excitebike64 was my jam as a kid! Really glad to see it on NSO.

Probably one of the most addicting games on Nintendo 64. I still have it and I still haven't unlocked some of the bonus game modes. You can unlock them with a Gameshark Pro but they don't save to a save file. Great game! One other thing there's also a Map Creator in this game.

This was after a 4 month hiatus though they should be giving us these remaining games soon to make up for the time lost of not getting one in those 4 months

I remember playing the original Excitebike for the NES as a young kid and discovering you could design your own track. That was seriously one of the most amazing things that stuck with me.

I'm hoping Star Wars Rogue Squadron and Battle for Naboo both make their way to the Switch one day.

@@kurisu7885 Well it could be in the next batch of games after 1080 Snowboarding, Mario Party 3 and also our mystery game to make up for us not getting Harvest Moon 64 since it’s exclusive to the N64 service in Japan.

This is some of the best marketing Nintendo has done in ages! It looks straight out of those 80s and 90s commercials, I really hope Nintendo continues this for the NSO trailers!

Gotta love that WWE 90s style overly dramatic commercial voice over they went with here 😅. I remember playing this back in the 90s on N64 when Sears had a game set up with it. When people would leave it on pause on the game or you see the main menu then walk away with the controller hanging there if you know you know 😅.

I had this game as a teenager and i thought it was the most epic n64 game ever! I played lots of the legend of Zelda ocarina of time as well and Conker's bad fur day. Great to see a new generation get to enjoy this game.

I definitely feel like it's more fun in multiplayer--when you're messing about with friends, it's easier to ignore how often the controls seem to work against you. Even now, I can't manage to complete a race without wiping out a million times and failing to clear the frequent tight turns. :c
