I'm glad it's getting reprinted, but sadly I'm at the point in my collection where I have to get over the fact I can't own everything I want lol I have to be choosey with what I buy

There was a weird little post office/candy/magazine store connected to a grocery store where I used to bike too and pick up Excalibur and other direct titles.

I preordered with Cheap Graphic Novels a while back and I am so stoked to get it!!!

Already come and gone on Amazon (at least in Canada), was available less than 24 hours. Hopefully they'll get more stock. Edit: Currently in-stock on Amazon US (17 Apr 930AM PST) for those that want a backup.

This is why I preorder EVERYTHING. Even then I sometimes get shafted, e.g. Kull the Destroyer.

I love this run! Glad for the people who missed out on its first run to get their own copy. I highly recommend this omnibus.

I do hope Amazon will honour my order that's still open from 2020!

That was the first American book I collected. Love this book. Yes, it was more expensive comparing to X-Men and other books but it had better paper and printing and the pin-up on the back. The bad thing about having Alan Davis is when you don't have Alan Davis and there was a lot of fill in artists. The Crosstime Caper storyline was fun but I think it overstayed its wellcome a bit. Davis' covers are awesome. Issues #4 and #13 are among my favourites. BTW, the Warlord story has a reference to Mike Grell's character of the same name from DC and the type used on the openning page is the same! At 15 min 18 sec

Got lucky last month and purchased the original printing DM cover from IST, they had them for a couple of hours before it sold out. Glad they are identical in paper thickness, so people who get the new printing won't be disappointed.

That's a good thing I preordered mine in February. I can't wait to rack this in. I always wanted Volume 1 of Excalibur. I already bought Captain Britain last month.

Glad to see it's hitting the shelves... Hope everyone who wants one is able to get it this time around. I love the art under the dust jacket!!! I have that original poster from back in the day. Not in the best condition, but oh well.

Was very lucky to get the original printing (somehow, bizarrely, was sold as overstock! In the UK!) - but really chuffed that this is coming back for others to finally get it!

ahhhh, I hadn't budgeted for this omni but I've been waiting on this reprint since missing the original. Omar, you're going to have to release another reading order video for New Mutants vol 2, Excalibur vol 2 & Wolverine vol 2 :P

I've had serious FOMO for this ever since my local comic shop had a copy of the first printing and I hesitated and didn't pick up a copy, so hopefully get a copy this print run😄 great overview as always Omar, cheers

I'm really worried about not getting this , currently the only place I can find it in the UK is on Amazon at their usual ridiculous price. But I have high hopes fresh stock will come out over the next 2 weeks. I will be feverishly checking my other retail sites on a daily basis till I snag a copy.

love the Dm cover but the standard cover has too much nastalgia for me, I remember buying it as a kid because I loved Fantasy work and the name got me

I can assure you this book did sell over here in the UK when those early issues came out, and a great comic it was too (and still is). Now if we can just get a proper Excalibur book again from Marvel.

I could use some advice. I have never read neither Excalibur nor New Mutants but I want to try one of them. Wich one would you say is better?

Art and Story are excellent!

So Excalibur issues 18 and 19 have a manga take on the characters, and I know X-Force 61 does a manga artstyle, which I thought was really cool. And then there's the Mangaverse (and New Mangaverse, which finally nails the artstyle)... Does anyone know of other issues/titles that did this?

Umm... didn't know there was a 2nd printing even coming. Cause Amazon Canada doesn't list it. If it was available it sold out even quicker than the first printing, which was like 24 bours at most. Wtf is going on with this book? So wierd.

Is this really coming out? - I've searched Amazon and every on-line retailer I use for collected editions (here in the UK) whether its a book or comic seller, and no-one has it listed for pre-order or available! - I'm beginning to think it doesn't exist.

Didn't know this was happening, no pre-orders anywhere in the UK, Forbidden Planet, Books etc..., Reed comics all have the original listing only from what I can see, so no clue it was coming and no way to pre-order. Anyone in the UK know who's already stocking the new printing to order? I need!

Damn I didn't even know this was going to get a reprinted release. The only one listed on Amazon as of now is the one that was done in 2020 I believe, and is going for around $125. I think this new edition is around $85 from where I've seen it listed elsewhere. Unfortunately, I live near Hong Kong now, and that's the only buyer I feel good about getting an omni overseas. Is the previous printing worth the $125 squeeze?

It does.

I owned many of the original comics as I had collected Captain Britain. I stopped collecting Excalibur because they made Captain Britain a completely unlikable character as well as an asshole. I also felt Meggan's transformation felt rushed and I wish she hadn't become stereotypically drop dead gorgeous and retained some of her original appearance, especially after she stopped trying to please others all the time and got better control of her empathetic abilities. Sadly no story in Excalibur can compare to the Jasper Warp from Captain Britain. It was also in Captain Britain that the first mention of the Marvel Multiverse, including Earth 616, first occurred. Good news that Marvel have just printed a huge omnibus of Captain Britain including the aforementioned Jasper Warp storyline. Talk about deaths, some truly memorable characters were killed off and the Fury and Mad Jim Jasper's are superb villains and their confrontation is epic.

Excalibur with Alan Davis involved: 10 out of 10, one of my top books of all time Excalibur with any other artist other than early Ron Lim: 4 out of 10, largely forgettable. As much as I should want to grab this I just can't do it. Maybe if they printed more copies this time and it hits a big discount.

I like Excalibur, X-Force and X-Factor but the actual X-Men team I’ve never been a fan of.
