Honestly, I can't believe she wasn't. It's obvious that was one motive as the woman was shot only in the abdomen several times as if intending to kill the unborn child.

The is what I don't understand. She was on this crusade of justice for her grandkids but didn't think twice about attempting to kill an unborn child. She could have shot her ex daughter in law anywhere, but she chose the stomach. Crying about saving children but cold-blooded attempted murder of another. And she's actively choosing to forget because facing the truth would be admitting she's more of a monster than her victims ever were (in her mind). The horror of her actions are like a boogie man to her. I bet she doesn't sleep well at night.

Agreed, and you can tell by the shooting. Multiple shots at her new husband, the idea is he took her away from their happy life. Multiple shots at the unborn child, the worst possible way to wound a woman to her soul - at least, that's what a woman would think. "She won't let me have my babies? Then she doesn't get hers." She was pissed because she blames her DIL for "destroying their lives" when the truth was she moved on from a bad situation. What a mess.

I believe she does remember murdering Robert and attempting to murder Crystal and the baby. The crime was planned out very well in the minds of her and her son. I guess they weren't the brightest bulbs in the box, thinking that was a good plan. As for the child who said things happened to him at his mother's, I believe that was coached into him by the grandmother and once it was in his mind, they took him off to a counselor to confirm it - or so they thought. Granny is still clinging to that, probably in hopes of using it in the future to secure her release or a new trial. Shame on them both, and I feel so bad for all the children involved and for poor Crystal and especially for Robert, who lost his life while being and innocent collateral damage victim. He had to be killed too, to make it look like it was random instead of targeted.
