Where did you read he bought the tape? I read he offered money for it but whether he actually managed to get it is unclear. If he did buy the tape, he should have just smashed it as there’s no point in keeping something like that in a safe. It doesn’t make sense to hold onto it instead of destroying it.

Reportedly Diddy paid that hotel in LA, which is no longer in business, $50K for the footage thinking there were no back-ups. I wonder who held onto the copies and how much CNN paid for one.
