Any money is big money if you ain't got none or not making any. One of the officers said he looked familiar to a known homeless person he's seen/dealt with. If that's the case, paired with his erratic behavior, it makes sense why he would want to stay. He wants to keep making money.

He is also part owner of Walmart and all Liquor stores in the State. If he takes something without paying it isn't stealing, it is more like making sure loss prevention is doing their work.

He wasn't even on Jimmy John's premises when the officer went after him. He was trespassed from Jimmy John's & couldn't stand on the public easement directly in front of it. The initiating officer told the young man that he could stand on that public sidewalk everywhere else except for directly in front of Jimmy John's and that is bc there are several other businesses located there and he has the right to visit those other businesses. It is clear as day in the bodycam video that he wasn't in front of Jimmy John's but the officer walked out of the restaurant & had obviously decided that he was just going to arrest him anyway.

I used to work with a dude like this for almost two years, and it made the shift insufferable. He ran his mouth, all day, always on about delusions of being way more important then he was. Claiming too know famous people. Claimed to be an ex-porn star, said he knew a bunch of musicians, that he was actually a "millionaire" and just waiting on his inheritance check, always on and on. He never worked, just found any reason to stand around and try to boss everyone, insisting he's going to be the next GM. He took a bottle of hot sauce and sprayed me down with it from head to toe on shift one day because I told him to leave me alone after he kept asking me for money and I refused, our supervisor did nothing but chuckle about it and wouldn't let me even go home to change. He would sexually harass the girls who worked there, always trying to get them to do stuff with him in the pantry, or go home with him at closing, even slapped some of the girls on their asses. Then, he would tell a couple of lesbians who worked there that "one night with me ..and you won't be dykes anymore! Just wait until I eat that!" The manager did nothing other than say, "Yeah, he's an asshole, just avoid him if you can and focus on your job." This was the mid-90's Taco Bell, before sexual harassment laws were really a thing, and companies never had anything in place for that, or enforced it. I was glad when he finally got arrested for holding up a Little Cesar's.

That officer at the beginning was being INCREDIBLY POLITE in perfectly explaining what was going on, and why things happened the way they did. This guy is just a feral human. 💯

The concept of being trespassed is as hard a concept to grasp as quantum string theory for these people. You can see the wheels spinning as he tries to think up new laws and lies. I hope every potential relationship sees this before it starts, this guy is textbook stalker material.
