That's pretty good for pre-alpha. The combat system is quite unique. From my observation, each member's turn has 6 action point, but other member can provide supporting attack or support at the cost of 1 action point. Member has 3 attacks per turn and you can combine it with other member's support (for example, it's member A's turn. I let member A attacks once, then let member B to give supporting attack, then member A attacks twice). You can modify your member's attack type/skills. I don't know if there's already a game with this combat system though so it''s quite bizarre to me. You can block enemies attack too with proper timing.

Hmmm, I'm not really familiar into the depth of Turn-based Strategy combat system in general, but does FFX or modern XCOM games has something interesting with action points in their TBS system?

@@ohamatchhams I don't know what makes "action point" can be considered as special, but it's a general term for how many action can you do in one turn. In XCOM, moving will cost 1 action point but you can move even farther with another action point, attacking will cost 1 action point. It's possible for a certain action to not cost action point using skills. As for this game, i use the word 'action point" but i don't see any official term from this video and we still don't know how the combat system actually works in detail. I only see each turn gives 4-6 action points. Attacking once will cost 1 action point. Something like that. About XCOM and FFX action point being special or not, i don't know. All of them resemble the same thing, that is how many things you can do in one turn.

Sounds a bit like Bravely Default's system. On each turn you can brave to spend multiple action points (BP), and even go into BP debt, or default to tank and not spend any BP. There are a lot of late-game shenanigans with classes and skills that can move BP around between characters, which is a lot of fun. I love that game so really excited to try out this one!

even though is just pre alpha it looks really good I really love how clean and futuristic the UI and also the scenery, character animation is already great and smooth cant wait to play the game I hope there will be PC version or multiplatform

The vibe that I'm getting from seeing and hearing the music, ambient, and the environment is just giving that vibe of an apocalyptic sci-fi world and it's just an amazing feeling to have. I'm kinda surprised that Genshin is also working on a similar type of game like this and I can't wait to try both out.

As a genshin player myself, i can clearly see that this game has nothing to do with Genshin at all. To begin with, it is a turn-based RPG rather than a real-time one. Plus, it is no gacha game but rather a premium experience (Which is way better on my book.). The only similarities is that they share the open-world / anime aesthetic factor. Hyped for the game.

It's guaranteed to be better than most games out there that you are already paying $60 for. DayZ? Wander? Cyberpunk 2077? I'm sure Hypergryph can at least put out in average game in comparison and it still would be better than a lot of stuff out there.
