Dave, this is so great mate. Thanks for taking the time and explaining your process. Really well put together and you are a valuable source of information. Keep it up!
You are really getting a hand on that CNC. And the guitar is looking amazing!
Thanks for this and other videos! I'm picking up some great tips. Looking great!
This video could not have come at a better time, I've been designing a guitar (Strandberg headless style) for the past couple weeks, I got all the design done and have been REALLY stuck on how to do the belly and arm carves in Vcarve. I literally got it all done while watching your video and following how you did it. I would genuinely like to thank you good sir! Awesome guitar build too BTW 👍🏻

Thanks brother that kind of comment is why I make these videos. Glad I could help
I think you can make your own guitar factory 👌
Very cool
I will say Dave, I don't have a CNC so none of this applies to what I'm doing, but these fixtures seem brilliant. 😎😎😎
Dave, That is turning out so nice! The CNC definitely gives you some precision and repeatability! Especially with all the jigs you have come up with.
Like you I started out in V-Carve, but have since then ventured into the realms of Fusion 360. I suggest you do the same; it'll open up wide new horizons for you. But it is pretty hard, I tell you.

I’m learning fusion now!
Love the work man! I recommend Fusion 360 for 3d modeling. It's free and relatively simple to learn for guitar building! Let me know if you would like some help :)

I have been learning fusion 360 looking forward to putting it to use.
3DCNCGUITARS could design your neck to your specs to carve the back. Also I haven't done blind slots yet in hardwood but I have done in popular with no problems. I set my fretboard jig horizontal to 510's bed and cut the slots using the Y axis.
