Evolution of the Nissan PENNZOIL Nismo GT-R '99 in Gran Turismo
All of the Nissan PENNZOIL Nismo GT-R '99, or as its known as it GT7, Nissan GT-R GT500. Starting with GT3, I knew the 2000 GT-R's better (the Calsonic and Loctite) but I did enjoy racing against the Pennzoil, and did eventually buy it in my playthroughs. With so many Japanese race cars, it's tough to stand out. Thankfully with the Pennzoil's bright yellow colour scheme it always did. And when I saw it was coming back to GT7, I'm sure like I was really excited to see it! Classic Gran Turismo race cars are my favourite!

Personally I like the old engine sound from GT2 and GT3, even GT4 and GT PSP's sounds I like. You know the rules, nostalgia is always the winner ;) But in general, the Pennzoil GT-R was pretty lucky with it's engine sounds, in fact all the GT-R's were in the early games. The Supra and NSX's...not so lucky in GT4 up until GT6. Personal opinion of course!

Agreed, I don't know why they changed it in gt5 and gt6, they made it sound terrible.....

True. You Watanabe's 1999 Pennzoil Nismo R34GTR is a crown jewel car on GT2 to 4.

Was always my favourite skyline jgtc car from the start. But I never realised this specific model was heavier than the other two in GT3, which kinda explains why it was slower than the rest of the field.

My personal favourites of Super GT cars are basically: you watanabe's Pennzoil Nismo R34GTR, Raybrig NSX GT500 2006 (Alicia Charlotte), 2008 XANAVI NISMO R35GTR (Hibiki Tensho) and 1997 Castrol Toms Supra (Karen Kamishiro) and 2005 Yellowhat YMS Supra (Mirai Asuka).

@@purwantiallan5089 My favourite JGTC cars are mostly the GT300, 1st the C WEST RAZO NISSAN SILVIA, AUTO BACS ASL GARAYA, and my favourite GT500 are UNISIA JECS NISSAN SKYLINE R33, AUTO BACS HONDA NSX, and the CALASONIC NISSAN SKYLINE R33, there are many others But I kinda forgot them.
