i pick '98 variant because of livery
I actually noticed that the Mercedes-Benz CLK LM had much worse handling and it was much slower in Gran Turismo 4 that's why it always ended last in the Gran Turismo World Championship in the Professional Events. In Gran Turismo 5 onwards, the handling and speed of the Mercedes-Benz CLK LM had much better handling and top speed.
In Gran Turismo 7, I bought another one of that car so that I can remove the decorations so that it will look like the Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR from Need For Speed III Hot Pursuit, Need For Speed High Stakes and Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2.
I still gonna pick the 1999 TOYOTA GT ONE LMGT1 from Maki Nishikino. The colour of the car also matched Maki Nishikino's favourite colour (Red). The 1998 GTONE also is great as it was the only one appearing in PlayStation 1 port of TEST DRIVE LE MANS.
I always loved a lot the 98 because of the livery, I always loved more the 98 version than the 99.😻❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I thought i was the only one, the 1999 version may be more iconic, but '98 looks cooler imo.
@@JVPlaysOficial1998 Toyota GT ONE also has 2 more bhp than 1999 variant.
I prefer the '99 variant
Me too since its quite difficult to obtain (Getting all gold medals in S License and winning the full 24 hour setting on Test Drive Le Mans "Le Mans" mode).
So I've done R390 vs R390 and GT-One vs GT-One...I wonder what could be next... 😉 Also, track selection...not the best for these cars, Seattle especially - I had over an hour of footage to get through. The best lap for the '99 I had was 5 seconds slower than what I eventually got. She's an untamed beast on Seattle.😂
Both 1998 and 1999 Toyota GT ONE also are the beast when facing against some of the fastest cars including Ai Miyashita's V12 LMR, Asuna Yuuki's Peugeot 905, and even against Cars from Formula One 99 (F399, MP4/4, J199, Williams FW21, and Stewart SF3).
DMC Delorean finally returned to GT7.
Devil May Cry Delorean
I have never used this (or maybe once) but this high key a forgotten great car and this made it into GT7? Wow. Also just thought of a suggestion and its big. Evolution of the Red Bull X2010s in Gran turismo 🙂
I'm honestly surprised the DeLorean made it into GT7. With such a small roster in comparison to GT4 - 6, I'd have thought it would have been cut - but it wasn't! I quite like the GT PSP engine sound the most, but I think all the engine sounds from all the games sound very strong! Which is quite rare haha
The engine sound of ZZII in GT5 and 6 (Without Master Mod) sounds the same as Setsuna chan's Minolta 88C-V.
The S2000 LM on Gran Turismo 7 sounds as epic as in Gran Turismo 3. 🤩
track name from 5:34?
Cape Ring, Periphery or outside loop. It was in gran Turismo 5 and 6. Personally one of my favourite tracks.
RX-7 LM '01 is another underrated car.
Man, I hate the sound of it GT5!!! GT2-4 was always sounded so intimidating especially on GT3 when I had to race against it on Test Course against my Viper GTS!
Hey solstice city, how about bring back audi r10 tdi lmp car in gran turismo 7.
When u have lot a money in GT4 and enter pescarolo showroom and u buy this variant than the '03 one because it only limit 330km/h 😂
Shizuku Osaka's 2004 Pescarolo C60 LMP1 is for me one of the all time best LMP cars alongside Ayumu-san's Sauber C9, Shioriko-chan's Mazda 787B, Karin-chan's Peugeot 908 Team Peugeot Total and Kanata-chan's 2005 Audi R8 LMP1 PlayStation Team Oreca.
Henri Pescarolo is a Le Mans legend and former Grand Prix driver. He won the legendary race four times then created his own team along with Courage to help with the chassis.
Henri Pescarolo's legacy is forever the best.😊
(imo on Test course) I would consider this an underdog race car when paired with the R390 GT1. ofc if paired with the higher end Group C cars (R92CP, R89C, & especially Minolta) it's probably gonna be smoked. But I love this thing, however idk why I enjoy the other one more. Maybe because unique sound or i'm just giving the slow thing a chance. I want both of these to return in GT7 ngl. Speaking of, I think you plan on doing an evolution on the Courage?
Rina Tennoji's 2003 Pescarolo C60 Courage Judd for me is one of 250 wishlist cars that should return in GT7.
The best LMP car of all time after the 787B in my opinion, it's just BEAUTIFUL.
True. Shizuku Osaka's 2004 LMP1 Pescarolo in GT6 with Spec II Mod sounded as great as in GT4.
@@purwantiallan5089 I've never used it in GT6 but I love the GV5 in general, i can already tell it's so amazing, without even using it.
I'm pretty sure this car was one of the better choices for a GT4 playthrough in the late game events, or at least I found it useful. I only bought it last month in GT5. Not because it never showed up in the dealership, but because I never had the credits for when it did. I'll do the other 2 Pescarolo's in future videos!
On GT5, Shizuku Osaka's 2004 Pescarolo costed $2.985.398.
The 1999 Ford Focus WRC in Gran Turismo 5 and 6 sounds like the USAF FORD RALLY CAR 2005 on Ford Racing 3.
@@purwantiallan5089 when will KZread stop these bots from coming on here
Ah Yes He When At Eurobeat Is Someone At Red Civic Car
Nissan Pennzoil and Calsonic is very cool JGTC cars! 😊😊😊
The AMG CLK-LM in Gran Turismo 7 sounded as good as in GT5.
I feel like after Gran Turismo 3, this car got nerfed. Cause I remember this thing used to keep up with the XJ220 race car and GT40 Race car
I kinda hate how most Nissan cars in GT2, and 3 used the RB26 sound

Gran Turismo 2 is the only ever game that have 1997 and 1998 R390GT1 ROAD CARS.
GT2 had a different model of R390?
Yep, '97 and '98
I love this car a lot in GT4 because of the engine sound. Now, it’s twin (the 1998 model) is coming to GT7 along with 5 other cars in update 1.49.
I remember driving this car in GT4. I thought it looked cool, and I love the engine sound. Now, in GT7, I have a Subaru WRX Gr.3 in the Cusco Advan livery.
I love this thing! They did it dirty in GT4, not very good transmission. Crazy that the AC Cars 427 and this are sorta even on test course xD, if i'm not mistaken
Ok, I'll stop with the R390 videos now...well for now ;) Personally I prefer the GT4 engine the most, followed by GT2 and 3, and then the rest after. I just like the deeper sound more. I think the road and race car shared the same engine sound in each game, which I guess makes sense. Still pretty cool!
The R31GTS-R in GT7 sounded quite similar to M30 R31GTS as well.
Ayumu Uehara's 1989 Sauber Mercedes C9 in Gran Turismo 6 Spec II Mod sounds very close to the real car and on par with the sound in Gran Turismo 7.
R390GT1 LM 1998 (Rin Hoshizora) and R390GT1 LM 1997 (Mari Ohara) on Gran Turismo 2, has better tyre durability than Toyota GT ONE 1999 (Maki Nishikino) and Mazda 767B (Shioriko Mifune).
My favourite jgtc car
When i replayed gran turismo 2 this year i got da 97 R390 from the grand valley endurance, too bad they got rid of the model, fun color, also, yo bday
I really like the R390, but i also just really like LMPs in general, they should add it even tho i dont play GT7
yeah I wish they'd add more LMP's to GT7. The car choices they pick are often so disjointed. I'd be happy with an updated just dedicated to LMP cars.
Anyone the Name of this Track in GT2?
It's Smokey Mountain North. It reappeared in GT3, simply called Smokey Mountain. Although it GT3 it was given a fresh coat of paint to look really different.
@@solsticecity Got it
@@HouseatNight2004Smokey Mountain North was one of 40 tracks not appeared in GT7 at all along with Silverstone and Matterhorn.
Recently I realized this is mainly because '97 model weighs 1000kg while '98 is 1160kg for somewhat. R390 GT1 might be a typical example of messy car specification in early GTs, considering returning in GT3 where it only weighs 900kg this time
In GT5, it weighed 1119kgs.
I think it would be cool if Motegi, Sugo and Okayama would all be added. Then together with Suzuka, Fuji and Autopolis we would have all 6 tracks from the Super GT (former JGTC) series, so people could recreate the complete season. Motegi was in GT 4-6 but the others were never in GT so far. Sugo is in Project Cars 2 and 3. Okayama was in the first TOCA Race Driver (under its old name Aida).
Nice video idea. I never thought of using the split screen mode like that. And I actually play PS1 games with d-pad as well. It's just what I am used to and a lot of PS1 racing games actually work very well with it. Most PS1 developers probably kept d-pad players in mind, as the early PS1 controllers didn't even have anything else.
GT7 Update 1.49 released recently and it brought back 1 car from Gran Turismo 3 along with 5 new cars and a returning track from GRAN TURISMO HD, Eiger Nordwand.
@@purwantiallan5089 It hasn't released yet. Also what does this have to do with this video or this comment?
Would be cool to see this car return, although the DTM car that people would like to return the most is probably the Calibra, which would also be nice because it raced against the Alfa Romeo in real life, while the CLK raced against the Astra. All of them are great though.
Do you play GT5 on a regular PS3 or do you have a modded game or play on emulator? This week I spent almost two days cycling the used car dealer in GT5 just to get one car for an upcoming video, lol. That's one thing that is a bit annoying about that game.
I play on PS3. I spent a few days looking for a car for my next upload. I think the longest time I spent was an entire month looking for one car. I don't miss the GT5 used car dealership at all.
I hope lotus will return in gran turismo 7. Bring back lotus Elise, lotus elan, lotus esprit, lotus europa, and lotus evora.🙏
