HandsPlasticX Most 3D Sonic games don't even have a time limit. As a kid, I spent over an hour in a level in Shadow trying to do a mission and was expecting to die when I hit 1 hour. There's a reason why Sonic games don't have time limits that long lmao

It's for 2P mode. If one player gets to the goal, the other player has 60 seconds to get the to the goal. It's so someone can't just try and sit and have the race drag on for the full ten minutes.

The only Sonic game I ever had a Time Over with was Sonic 3 Carnival Night Zone Act 2, thanks to 2 things. Level is too big for some strange reason and that dreaded lone spinning barrel I couldn't get off from.

I can sort of understand a noob being stuck in a Sonic level for 10 minutes but how do you spend a god damn HOUR!? Especially in a game as piss easy and short as Sonic Forces!!

That’s more of an automatic game over cause you lose all of your lives upon waiting 3 minutes. And also yeah Sonic does becomes very impatient and dies offscreen lol

In Sonic 2 it's like you're drowning with no water. Also here in 2:45 only 1 second in the water, it's like you drown already. Here in 5:36 it's like you jump on a spring that is a trap, with no rings.

It's for 2P mode. If player 1 gets to the goal, player 2 has 60 seconds to get to the goal. It's so the races don't drag on forever.

This is not a game over if you have plus than one life, this is too brilliant when you don't know how to complete a stage, if this happens, you'll respawn on a checkpoint with 0 time. This can sometimes jump a lot. If you die with one life or time is up, you will get to the very start stage.
