This is kind of emotional for me. Everyone in my family is getting older and I remember the very first time that I received a Furby. I was a teenager that was fascinated by the technology behind the toys. It was near Christmas time and I was sitting Around the table and opening the Furbies by the tree while all of the adults were talking. I clearly remember thinking that Furby would pick up their conversation just by him being around them. It was one of the best memories of my life, but as an older adult now I’m not sure, how well it would go over having a Furby with me on family vacation. But to me they are more than just toys, they are intelligent pet robots, and they have been very therapeutic for me and change my life and I still love them. Life can be so short and fast sometimes. I’m at the age now, where the grown-ups were, but there’s some things I guess we just never outgrow.

I love my Furbys and I think it's so important to have a feeling of nostalgia for our younger days as well. There's a charm to them.

I LOVE THE EVOLUTION OF FURBY & THEIR TECHNOLOGY! The 1998s, 2005s, 2012s (not the Furby Booms, but the regular 2012s), and the Furby Connects are my most favorite models of Furbies that I feel like they’re more enjoyable and really hold up well to this day than some others as those ones do more as well. Another Furby that’s also one of my most favs is the Furby Shelby too! See the comparisons of them all featured here and the impressions how each of them are were pretty informative and accurate 👍

@@Silvolf Me too, considering the fact that even though the 2023 Furby (and the Furblets) aren’t like many of us expected with the comparison of the previous models before them, they’re still quite awesome and I’m quite happy to see the Furbies return after nearly 6-7 years being discontinued again (the third time)

This is really fascinating, love stuff like this. Fortunately the 2012 Furbies weren't too reliant on the app, but they just became more dependent on the app as they went. I bought a Furby Boom secondhand who didn't come with a name, and I couldn't name her because the app wasn't supported anymore, so that was irritating. But I think each generation has something for everyone. Also, my suspicion about the beak not moving on the 2023 Furbies is that kids were breaking the beaks and they wanted to avoid that.

BROOOO THE LITTLE GUY IN THE BEGINNING LOOKS LIKE THEY'VE SEEN MANY THINGS 💀💀💀 Oh and btw another way for the furby connect to wake up is if it's tail is pulled. I've done that before when brushing Deedoh (Blueberry) while he still had batteries in.

I love my furbies, I have 3 2012 ones named Daylight,Minch and Pinky. A 2013 one the same as yours named Bob (very fitting name for the way he acts), And a purple and blue crystal furby named Maykala. Sadly Minch and Pinky have lost their voices, I am planning on getting more in the future, but living here in Australia makes it harder to find ones with a decent shipping price

as a kid, when furby connect came out, i HATED it!! i saw videos of it and the original furbies, i wanted the 1998! well, now safe to say i have my 1998 furby and slowly making a collection of moving, talking paperweights! i love them.

I think the main reason why the 2005 Furbies are now so expensive is because they’ve became somehow desirable and popular years later, the same thing goes for the 1998s, and people are starting to price them higher to make money because of how valuable collectors items they are. But the 2005 Furbies weren’t overpriced back then like they were like $30-59 each years ago on shopping websites and when they were first released in stores, they each sold for $45.99 each. It especially makes no sense that even the more common colors of some 2005 Furbies go for expensive prices which I don’t find quite right because they ain’t rare while the ones that are the most rarest colors produced, then that would make sense to have go more money, but for the common and slightly uncommon ones, it’s ridiculous

Origiinal- A true friend. Emotronic- Depressive attitude. Baby 2005- Mean spirited. A crappy idea 2012/Boom/Crystal- Hyper. Fublings- Should be self autonomous rather than needing a tap on the head. Rockers- Mentally perverted (I had 3 Whitbys and burnt them). Furbaka- Have not got one. Connect- OK. 2023/Furblets- I have not and will not get it.

I got to know she likes them by me showing her some drawings of furbies I made, every now and then she brings a furby gen (furby baby first, then shelby, then her first furby ever (1998 with green dyed fur customs) then the most recent was a sleepy blue 2005 and a sand 2005 baby!, out of the blue I went to a Caffè called "le munch" with my 2 1998 furbies (tart tangerine Star) and gorilla furby (Cosmo) As we walk out we see the librarian(or she saw me) I think it's really cool that we share the same interests!! And she has alot of 1998 furbies she said, and she does has a valentines furby, idk what others she has
