Thanks for posting! I love your videos and the wisdom you share with the public❤. I especially love the dsm/evo 6266/6466 sessions as I have a built 1g dsm with a 6266/s3 combo I’m slowly ironing out. Please continue doing what your doing brotha, each video brightens up our day😊
Awesome.... a man of ur word... when we spoke earlier u said u wud try to drop a video and u did....
This is where I’m coming to get my evo 9 tuned. Love how you make the power and also tuning the car to be very smooth during every day driving. My current tune makes the jam, but under low load and moving around parking lots, I bog like crazy and it’s annoying!

I wish you showed boost line too so we could see when boost kicks in
little bit of blue smoke, probably the turbo
Question for you I just had Kelford 214 B cams with springs installed on my 2015 Evo X The car drives amazing now apart from every now and then it has a small buck/hesitation at low rpm Is this fixable through the tune or just a part of bigger cams ?
@bdalchemist

It's fixable if it's not a mechanical issue

So what do you consider safe to set the boost to for 93 on a stock engine? I’ve been running about 26-27 on my 18k, and my plan was 28 for e85.
@markc1456

i ran 28 29e85 for years on my stock block FP Green s2 combo no issues! never ran 93 though but 26-27 should fine
BD did you have to measure the tappets,and do you have to measure the coil bind on the springs before installation????

We didn't build the head. But when we do it , yes 100%" valve lash" , shimming and spring rates are addressed
What's your best recommendation on valve lash for s2 cams? 3071r turbo. Thanks in advance

Why so much blue smoke??

Stock rod bolts don't like that much rev, power goals have been met as well. No need to rev it out.

Have you tuned any Evo 8/9s running an MHI 18k?

Yes
So are the cams even worth it on a stock bottom end? It seems you make roughly 500hp with or without them and you didn't increase recline. I am asking because I am thinking about doing cams, springs over size valves as my next upgrade but it doesn't look like it would give me any gain over what I have now. ( efr 8374 turbo)

100% worth it

@@markc1456 How is it worth it? It doesn't seem to make any more hp over the stock block without cams and you can't Rev any higher over stock block. If I am going to spend the money on a built head I would want to see some gains over thr stock head. I am already at 500+whp and rev to 7500rpm with the stock head. What makes building the head worth it unless you have a built bottom end?

@@bdalchemist Thanks for the reply. I have a borg Warner 8374 turbo twin scroll. Internal wastegate. 29psi of boost. Driven Fab exhaust manifold, (2.5" runnersl and 3.5" downpipe going into 3" exhaust. On a Evo x, stock head and block. Exedy twin clutch. Id 1300 injectors but I have ID 1700' bran new in the box. Walbro 450 pump. 3.5" ETS intercooler. Running e85. I get e98 but mix it down to e85. This is my 3rd season with this set up and I am wanting more now. Will I see any gains by building the head, oversize valves, springs, cama etc. With stock bottom end with my set up? Or is it not worth it?
Is running 93 through your Injectors when you primarily run E85 really necessary?

More like 5-6 e85 to 2-3 93. But everything car is different, I have personally had cars that ran e85 all it's life and no issues. Than had cars get messed up injectors (all brands) on 2-3 tanks fo e85. It's a hit or mis
