You have to remember her whole life she took everything from her. Op believes her sister is better more beautiful and the greatest. So her finding a man who is everything would make her feel unworthy of him. Her sister used that to hurt her her whole life.

Dove should be in jail. OP should be in therapy. Atlas deserves better. I don't believe in testing partners. There should have been open communication about this all along. Atlas is not a mind reader, how was he supposed to know to show op the messages. He probably knew she was at odds with the sister and didn't want to upset her even more.

Atlas and the narrator did nothing wrong. The scene where he maintained contact with her for so long is the reason for suspicion.

The very last sentence in the story doesn't sit well with me. She says "If his friend hadn't recorded that, I would have never believed that Atlas was not involved in this.". Like, seriously? She knows how low her sister stoops, she knows she's a narcissist and completely without scruples and morals, and she knows that her sister would do anything to sabotage her wedding. Yet she would not have believed Atlas' innocence without the video? That's nasty. Atlas deserves better than to have a fiancée with so little trust in him. Yeah, sure, OP is a victim of lifelong abuse from her narcissist sister and is definitely damaged from it, but that's such an unfair situation for Atlas to be in.

Like seriously! I was a bit annoyed with op with that last statement. There was so many times that Atlas didn’t engage with her plus the dude was drugged! Even if the friend didn’t film it, one simple trip to the doctors would prove that he was a victim. Also I’m not trying to victim blame but Atlas really should have kicked her out when she was trying to get him to drink it. Honestly, BF has some serious love for OP. He put up with continuous inappropriate advances from SIL, had to go through the traumatic experience of having his agency and free will taken away through attempted SA and drugging and still remained by OP's side. Even through all this, he had to put up with the suspicion and mistrust of the person he cares about most, in his own home. OP is lucky to have someone so loving and dedicated.

Pressing charges wasn't her decision, though. It has to be the victim. We don't know who made that call. As for the friend thing, if he hadn't recorded it, she also would not have seen him in that state, she would have seen what Dove wanted her to. I'm going to assume it was bad wording mostly bc there are more examples of it through the post. She needs to work on her trust issues (which are mostly justified and entirely explainable) but I don't think she blames him for almost being SAd

Just getting disowned wasn't punished enough. Dove should've been behind bars. Had their roles been reversed, Atlas would've left the venue in handcuffs.
