I appreciate your honesty. A lot of these creators give you the idea that you’ll be able to rank up and get in some mythic and I have spent countless dollars on building decks. I’m glad I found your page I subscribed I liked and I’ll be trying to stick out. Thank you.

@dustinshirey9178 Thanks for the support, Dustin! Most of my decks are more fun than ranking machines, except for the Azorius Control decks that usually do well. But I do try to be transparent with which decks work and which don't, albeit in the outro, so you have to wait till the end of the video. Some of my last few decks have been good for ranking, but VERY expensive to craft.

You are way to chill for a dimir player. Perhaps dimir players aren't as evil as I thought... Thank you for this epiphany!

i was looking at the Greed's Gambits i pulled and wondering how i could effectively use them and this was a dope idea! i probably won't be crafting the birds and archfiends to play it myself with rotation happening, but man this looks like good ol janky fun

I had this deck on standby for a while now, but wasn't too convinced while playtesting. I waited until Mythic and suddenly it was decent. It's not as bad as normal jank because the dimir creatures shell is good on its own. I simply added flipping the bird as jank.😅

i remember fighting a similar deck once, it was so annoying and broken xD i even put both cards in a new deck with the tag "develop this" to try to make a deck. the problem is like always, the tokens 😅 but now i can replace that with your deck and try it in the future 😁 so thanks you for that

I absolutely adore jank like this. Another good dimir one is assassins with Etrata as your key, and opponent board steal. Flipping somones Etali or Atraxa that you stole, for only 4 mana? Is pretty lovely indeed.😂

@tankaliscious I've tried several decks that only leveraged opponents' wincons, such as Siphon Insight and it was too unreliable. But I have to admit I haven't tried Etrata. Given Dimir has enough good creatures to draw fire away from it, it might work. I'll see if I can make something with it.

@tankaliscious Haha The good thing about jank is, there's no wrong way to jank. There are more efficient, better synergy, ways, but it's all jank. I'm going to focus the next couple of weeks (after next video) on saying farewell to rotating cards. Then new set comes. But we have lots of time with Etrata, so I can try later.

No rush at all, I'm just happy to have found a creator who plays just like I do. I have been really enjoying everything since here.

That otawara win was nice. I wonder if you should be playing green for tear asunder/white for get lost or some other enchantment removal that destroys it on the spot.

@abcdefghijkl5408 I considered my options for how to get it off the field immediately, but I wanted to keep it to teo colors. If you are going with a 3rd color, Get Lost is probably the more versatile option. At that point you might be pivoting to less creature based, which I did simply to draw fire away from the bird so that I could flip the bird reliably.

How rotation proof would this deck be?

It looks like only nonlands rotating are Graveyard Trespasser and Make Disappear, so it's too bad. Those aren't central to the combo, they just help pressure the opponent and keep them from popping off. I would say this is very rotation safe and you can replace those cards.
