Great video, thanks man
You will see India how you want to see it. Many tourists from G7 countries go along the Golden Triangle because it is replete with monuments, forts, palaces, temples and 17th century bazaars. Many tourists from these countries are hopping from monument to monument with smart English-speaking guides. Tourists from Russia are only interested in Goa, this is because they look for places with warm climate, warm waters, affordability, easy availability of alcohol and relaxed dress codes. Goa seems to fulfill those categories. Tourists from Israel, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Malayasia are interested in visiting Shimla, Manali and Dharmasala. Some have even travelled to Gulmarg and Pahalgam. This is because these places have cold weather and are the cheapest places for them to experience snowfall. Students from Iraq, Iran and African countries visit Pune and Bangalore. Finally Bangladeshi tourists are only interested in shopping malls of Kolkata and in drinking.

Why would I not want to go get hammered on vacation? Affordability and ease of access to copious and unhealthy amounts of alcohol is what I seek. If a location that fits that criteria also has interesting historical locations such as legendary battlefields, I think I'd be in heaven.

1) Best transportation to use in India is metro. India has the 8th largest metro system in the world. Currently, metro operates in 15 major cities of India. 2) Except Uber, India also has Ola app for travelling. 3) Indian people don't depend on using cards or atm much as we have unified payment interface (UPI) system which allows us to pay/transfer money directly through the mobile. 4) India is very safe, just avoid going to shady places, cheap hotels and avoid Old Delhi type of places at all cost. 5) India's food is very rich with spices and street foods are made with loads of spices which a foreigner's stomach is not used to. I would suggest to avoid street food as much as possible. Better to go to hotels and restaurants.

my question is regarding guided tours where do you recommend a safe guided tours that we won't get scammed, also how much spending money is a good amount for a 3 week holiday
I just got my e-visa from the government site. It was pretty easy. My son had been arrested for disorderly conduct while in college. He reported that arrest. They asked for minimal details and quickly approved his visa.
One thing you missed about Digital Payment System - UPI. UPI now allows usage of International cards. Digital payments system allows to travel without cash.
What is the - Health Certificate - mentioned in the intro?

2 suggestions. If you watch many videos you will find that very few Indians, other than in Goa, wear shorts. You won't get into religious sites plus more opportunities for misqittos and ticks. I suggest light trousers with secure pockets. 2. I have been to Thailand, China, South America, etc. I always advise to stay away from animals. Rabies is a potential. Monkeys are cool, but they are wild animals.
Don't you mean the South being vegetarian vs North being non vegetarian? Udipi style cuisine, in the South, is pure vegetarian...look for a town named Udipi/Udupi. That's my heritage...what my parents grew up eating...and I like. It's part of me. North is more of Mughlai meat curries. Mumbai is seafood baby...all the way!!!...not to mention Parsi style also....Parsi as in Freddie Mercury (Farokh Bulsara) and Parsi. Goa is very heavily Portuguese influence in food and in religion and architecture. Also the trains are what made India. Maybe it's because my tata (grandfather) was a railway inspector on Western Railways in Mumbai, along with many Uncles working in the railways. Additionally, you glanced right over the Deccan and Bangalore, Mysore, Coimbatore, and Ooty. Maybe for me, it's because of family. Bangalore is the third city that makes up the economic "locomotive" of India. Bangalore reminds my of California at the elevation of Denver. While Bangalore is a bit overbuilt, Mysore is beautiful...if you like palaces, yoga retreats, and studying culture and religion. Many beautiful outdoor parks also. FYI I happen to like the meter gauge railroad trip from Coimbatore to Ooty... actually have to switch trains in between, to connect to meter gauge train going up the mountain....and you can see them engage the cogwheel going up the grading to the Niligiri tea plantation areas around Ooty. BTW, between Delhi and Mumbai, if you have the time, take the Mumbai Rajdhani Express Train instead of the airplane. It's and experience... particularly in AC first class sleeper car..... nothing like Amtrak. You can also take the Gharib Rath Express Train. Also, the Southernmost point of mainland India on Cape Comorin lies a hamlet called Ashramam in Kanyakumari District of Tamil Nadu (Kerala border). That is my father's native place as they call it in India (place where my father's family originates from)... beautiful place where the Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea, and Bay of Bengal meet.

@@IslandHopperTV I actually disagree with you. North India, which I define as Delhi and North is predominantly Mughlai. This is where you have the rogan josh, tandoori, and related. Coming into Gujarat and South of Delhi, into what I call closer to Center if India, you have Mumbai in the West (on the Arabian Sea) going straight East to the Bay of Bengal perhaps around Vizag and related it is a mix. Maybe seafood in some areas, non veg in some, and veg in others. Coming further South you start to get in the Deccan, Karnataka, and potentially even Tamil Nadu. Maybe those who are not strict regarding ahmsa, may be non veg. More likely in varying degrees you will find vegetarian more commo, as you have Udipi and South Indian vegetarian fare. Goa is of course Portuguese. Other may consume pork. Other then Chettinad style, it's mostly vegetarian...dosai, idli, sambar, etc....onward into Tamil Nadu you get more into vegetables and tubers. Coming to the far South in Kerala you have the addition of more coconut cream. You find things like avial, and Thorne, olan, etc. All vegetarian. Other then those on the coast who may eat fish, it's predominantly vegetarian... Mysore is known for vegetarian. Trivandrum is known for Kerala style, which is predominantly vegetarian.... coconut based. Going over to Tamil Nadu, it is still vegetarian, but maybe less of coconut. You aren't looking for a Rogan Josh curry in Trivandrum of Bangalore. You want to go to MTR in Bangalore for brunch and their idlis and dosai. Look for Rogan Josh in Srinagar in India's North. The South may have certain pockets where people eat meat curries or seafood, but you are more likely to find sambar with moringa drumsticks and a sada dosai....like in Mysore. The South is lighter more vegetarian fare.

From my experience India is way better than any European country and America as well. Had a bad time in those countries and won't be going back. Also, talking to dead eyed people was the worst part. People are self centred and very angry. Except few.. Eastern Europe was better but overall it was sad. America was the worst of all unless you love solo travelling. I'm more interested in cultures and people so I had the worst time over there. Cities are not clean, homeless people, drugs, and safety was non existent.

But i as a haryanvi feel ashamed of saying that we are better than any other states of India . For me india is 1 and evryone need to help each other . Also i beleive UP will be state biggest GDP after 1 dacade because of it's huge potential and the policies which are being introduced in UP in past 5 years . Also Bihar's GDP is amoung fastest growing in whole india in past decade . Bihar has been showing above 12% GDP growth rate in past 1 decade !

IVisa scammed us.
@Rhiggins5173
Ай бұрын
Not that anyone asked here's how the scam works. We were traveling in Singapore where you're expected to fill out a incoming vister forum. We went through IVisa who would fill this out for us for $75 per forum. Apparently failing to fill it out could add hours to your travel time. The site made it sound like collecting the forums is difficult to do and going through IVisa is the easiest method. Two weeks out, we pay the $150 and are told they will process it and get it to us a few days before. The night of the trip they send us the forum, all of our information is incorrect. Like dramatically wrong, they had the wrong address, sex, and phone number. Hell they got the state wrong. We call their 24 hour service and are essentially told to call back during regular business hours. But our flight leaves when their business hours open so that's not an option. We land in Singapore expecting to have to explain this to someone at the airport, but when we get there the forums are available to file for free yourself. It took us 5 minutes. Once the next buisness day that we could call came up, we called back demanding a refund. They said that because we took their forum and got into the country, clearly there was no problem and we didn't have a right to ask for the refund. It took 2 days of calling them before they finally budged and gave the money back. Don't use them. TLDR: They charge you for a forum you can fill out yourself for free, and they don't even fill it out properly.
Delhi is the capital of scammers. Freelance taxis will scam you million ways, just use rideshares like Uber or Ola
In short, stick to White countries of Europe, US, UK, Canada and Aus. 😂
