I wouldn’t say GA went blue....yet. When Trump won PA, MI and WI in 2016 nobody is as saying those states were now Republican. It was just a flip-vote. Al-Obama won VA in 2008 which was a solidly red state. Its voted Democrat consistently since then and only now is considered a truly blue state.

What's crazy is that for every corporate job I've had I was told "You represent us both on and off the clock" and if you broke that rule you could lose your job. But government officials can do all of this with no repercussions??

A person with 0% political experience, 0% executive level corporate experience, 0% government experience, a run-of-the-mill business degree (undergrad, no less) and worked part-time at a cross-fit gym/podcast/opened-closed a local cross-fit business. That's like having someone with no formal civil engineering education, no engineering work experience and no real leadership experience, who happens to have tinkered w/ owning a bakery shop, become a project manager on a civil infrastructure project. You're almost as dumb as she is. Jesus Christ.

@Jane Kitenye The Jezebel story was about Kamala Harris. Nancy Pelosi was elected, then elevated to Speaker of the House. MTG was elected and stripped of the ability to be a committee member. I would say she’s smarter and more well rounded (ie, less crazy) than MTG, that’s how.

Thanks to the Koch brothers efforts over the last 15 years to elect Republicans to state office, they have take over many state legislatures even in purple or blue states and have then drawn up Congressional districts that heavily favor Republican voters. This is known as "Gerrymandering" (drawing voting districts to include voters that favor one party). Because Republicans will vote for anyone as long as they don't have a D after their name you end up with elected officials like this woman.
