Ойындар
Hi handsome! Luneye the infinite guy back with a somewhat regular schedule!
Today, I am here to provide you with a quick and (somewhat) comprehensive overview of infinite potions. I will tell you where to find them and how to get them with the power of google sheets ._.
Feel free to pause the video at any point or to study the spreadsheet in more detail! I am here to just give you the best information possible!
Speaking of sheets, here is the link to the full document:

I must be doing something wrong because I am rarely at 300% drop rate when I grind. Were the numbers from the non pot piece locations also at 300% drop rate?

Yes, all the data in the video was taken during a 2-week long 100% drop rate event, hence the 300% drop rate, including the non-piece locations.
It is a nice grind if you just one to chill man. Plus the chance to get a full drop piece then its money

Thank you for the comment! I liked some of the spots, but my finger hurts from holding Shift all the time :(
Problem is, how much can you believe the Garmoth data at 300% droprate? How many hours are recorded there for these spots at that droprate? I'm having a hard time believing many people bother to accurately record their actual drop rate data for every grind session they do, given how much they like to "cheat" already with their gains, so whatever's available on Garmoth at 300% is probably even more skewed. I'd be more inclined to believe the actual averages are way lower than that. Also, is the money from the spots you're showing at 2:32 also at 300% droprate?

You can't trust any man-made data, which is why I am comparing Garmoth to Garmoth. If we are going to say that many people don't bother recording actual drop rate data, then we need to assume that is the case for both the potion grinspots AND the "money spots." Same way we could say that we cannot trust data recorded at Orcs, because many people go to marni and then act like their 65 minutes in marni was actually just an hour. Garmoth might not be the most accurate when it comes to actual hard data, but it is the closest we will ever get to 100% accurate data without someone databreaching the servers and taking every grinddata directly from inside the game. Garmoth is the most accurate we have, and it will always be million times more accurate than people's own tracking, since the Garmoth database is much larger than any one single person can produce, hence it has a smaller margin of error. Yes, all data is done with an Unspecified class, 300% no agris, except for the spots classified as "Agris spots" where I included both agris and non-agris data and averaged them out in the final calculations. All was done on May 17th 2024, so the actual numbers might be a bit different today.

@@Luneyebdo and how many hours are logged into these spots at these parameters?
@Luneyebdo

I am not shoveling through tens of thousands of logs to figure that out. No matter the number, it will still be way more than any one person can log, making it irrelevant anyway.

@@Luneyebdo so if you filter Garmoth's global grind page by these parameters, the number of hours logged for each spot doesn't show in the "Hours" column? I'm asking because I don't have premium Garmoth so I dont' know how it looks.

Oh, no, it just adjusts the numbers upwards/downwards, but the hours logged stay the same. I am not entirely sure how it works. Premium Garmoth gives you a way to look at class-specific details, which lets you know which classes are better/worse at which specific spots, and it also lets you look at the exact grind data that people have put in, along with their gear and buffs. The only real way would be to go through that one by one and try to extrapolate the data that way, which would be too much work for any one person.
imo grinding for pots is a noob trap. they dont do very much when you can just buy pots every hour from an npc or tent for negligible silver. that is if you even need pots to begin with, some spots you can one shot the mobs and do very little damage to you, at worse with the new addons you can put hp and resource on hit on skills, or use spirit perfumes if you really need the mana. infinite pots are 100% a luxury item and not needed whatsoever.

Thank you for the comment! I do agree that the infinite potions are given a bigger weight than they really have. They are not a necessity as some people will have you believe, but they are a really nice thing to have. The main advantage is that it saves inventory weight. Of course you can work around them, but like I kinda implied in the video, it is better if you just grind them out and use the money you earn while grinding for the potion to get a gear upgrade, killing two birds with one stone.

I found the potions to be game changers. Made life in the game so much more convenient. I hated having to buy and think about potions all the time. I feel like some classes also become nicer to play when you don't have to care at all about energy/mana. Sure maybe I could probably use addons instead but this way I simply don't have to care, just enjoy the game. Also now with Family inventory having infinite mana potion on all my characters is so nice.
