When renting through Expedia they ask if you want the rental car insurance plan, $11 a day for collision protection, says 0 deductible/excess. Is this the same thing that you are recommending?? When I selected it I was brought to AIG Travel Guard car rental insurance policy and it is really confusing. I'm wondering if I should just cancel all of this and rent directly through Enterprise.

I never recommend booking through a 3rd party. I have also had instances of people telling me the insurance booked through 3rd party websites has not been accepted. If you prefer Enterprise I would book directly through them. Use Enterprise.ie, not .com so you can have the necessary insurance added.
