Also their outfits might be a windwaker reference as the have the belt with the golden swirl just like toon link! It would make sense as this is a game about sailing on the seas. They even have the colors of four swords link with green, purple and blue, with red replaced with orange instead

@@Mateo_xExperimento Crossover means two different universes mix, usually is a larger-scale & canon event. Cameo is a brief appearance, sometimes even just an easter egg. Has the potential to be canon or non-canon.

The art style is so recognizable that I knew it was Mario and Luigi almost immediately before it said "mario and luigi" in the trailer. I just didn't know if it was going to be a remake at first. That was wild!

It genuinely feels like a natural progression. In Dream Team, we had 2D sprites in a 3D environment (except for the Giant Bosses). Going from sprites to full on 3D models is a testament to how far the franchise has come.

Mario and Luigi being welcomed back with open arms was amazing.

Hiroyuki Kubota a former writer and game designer at Alphadream along with a few other alphadream employees started working at Monolith Soft after alphadream went bankrupt. Since Monolith Soft is a Nintendo studio and they already work on RPGs mainly Xenoblade I wouldn't be surprised if they are making this game

They’re not fruits, they’re all based on plugs, extension cords, power outlets, and more.

What y'all missed about Mario and Luigi's voices is that there are actually a lot of Charles Martinet's older voice samples from previous installments used in the trailer _alongside_ Kevin Afghani's. I think they might just placeholders though

I hope so. What's the point of recasting Mario and Luigi if they're still using Martinet's voice?

I hope this also maintains those "chase attacks" in the boss fights used in Dream Team and Paper Jam.

My guess for the developer is next level games because the animation looks a lot like their style from Luigi’s mansion 3 and specifically Mario strikers battle league. Lots of squash and stretch

im just curious what the big main gimmicks gonna be cause i feel them trying to hide it sorta like with mario captures and kirby mouthfuls im assuming it has something to do with the hand thing from the opening but it could be something weirder or wackier maybe electricity theme since everyone in this world is electricity themed but who knows

When I first saw the trailer I thought it was a remake!😂

I really like what they showed. I do hope this game doesn’t use annoying Motion Controls. Not to mention I use controllers that get rid of that feature. I also really find it cool that there is gonna be multiple islands with their own unique themes. Concordia is the overall name of the whole world.

My guess is Nintendo EPD & Next Level Games, the guys behind the Luigi's Mansion games

Charles Martinet is not in Mario & Luigi: Brothership but his voice was reused in Super Mario Party Jamboree, which was revealed in the same direct.

I feel like this game will have both the new and old style bros moves

I hope if it's a different development team that the charm isn't lost. One of the big things in my opinion of the Mario and Luigi games is the Humor and how the story isn't that dark.
