Xenoblade can have so many different games. Xenosaga is canon now so a xenosaga trilogy remaster or remake is going to happen eventually. They are probably working on Xenoblade Chronicles 4. And of all the Nintendo franchises that deserve a warrior style game that is not Zelda, it is Xenoblade. We play Xenoblade for the story and not for the gameplay, so that game will probably sell just as well as the main series.

metroid prime 4 was listed as an upcoming nintendo game during their investors meeting, it’s absolutely still being worked on

Counterpoint about Fire Emblem: Engage was finished a while before it came out, shown by the fact that all the DLC released within 3 months and the game was actually leaked with screenshots like 6 months before it was even announced, and those screenshots looked very close to the final build.

Thank you so much for doing all of them. Hearing about all of the obscure basically dead Nintendo series was actually really delightful. Your thoroughness is noted and appreciated.

"And I mean every series." Meanwhile, Style Savvy, Wave Race, Hotel Dusk, Ouendan/EBA sad in the corner. Need I go on? Absolutely. Also Magical Vacation, Custom Robo, Panel de Pon, Sin&Punishment, StarTropics, X technically got a sequel, probably more but thats really digging deep.

You forgot Wave Race. And it would be nice to have Princess Peach in here because she has a second game (even if it was two months ago) and it would be nice to hear if there's a new Princess Peach game in the future.

I really wish they were doing more with Splatoon. You can tell they have become comfortable with where it’s at now (for some reason) and that scares me for future games becoming stagnant…

You forgot about how there is code for a new StarFox game in Switch Sports and that means they plan on making one. It should be a release for the next switch so if it were me id give it a 4

There’s a rumored Fire Emblem 4 remake that’s been in development alongside Engage. We also got WarioWare Move It last year.

Just going to say, I *loved* Cruis'n Blast. I hope that Raw Thrills is hired by Nintendo to work on a new F-Zero. Definitely a hidden gem on the Switch imo.

Meanwhile Fossil Fighters hasn't had new game since 2015 and the last one sucked. Edit: Marking it as 1 hurts man!😭 The 2018 trademark gives me hope for Fossil Fighters I ain't giving up!

Frontiers was a disgrace to the series, and I am upset that it basically killed Fossil Fighters. The original 2 DS games were so good; I still play them every now and then!

Nintendo loves to innovate for the sake of it. Problem is when they do its a hit or a complete miss. There is a saying "If its not broke, don't fix it". That's why Starfox is so weird because as you said they had a great formula in the beginning but they went out of their way to break it and that's why the later games aren't as good.

The problem with Starfox is that it's a rail shooter. While rail shooters are still in thing indie games, they usually don't transfer well in a big budget game because of how short they are. Not helping makes is that SF 64 3ds only sold 1.07 million, so Miyamoto no longer see the series as profitable anymore.

StarFox returning is dependent on how nintendo and miyamoto looks at Starfox Zero. Either A: they realize that their GIMMICK first approach is only hurting them then anything and should instead go GAMEPLAY first like their other series. Or B: They didn't learn and they are just gonna wait until they find another unnecessary hardware gimmick to try and make a starfox game around. The pain of being a Star Fox fan

Fans have came up with a plethora of new ideas and ideas are not exclusive. He and nintendo should be able to come up with these ideas as well. Yea that was really confusing to hear in the video, especially since he barely went into the actual game and only mocked it?? All while adding nothing of substance to why it’s a one, I remember seeing a good amount of people enjoying it on 3DS so I would’ve liked a bit more of depth for why it was one. (For example go into the fact that vanpool the studio behind it was closed down recently to my current memory)

And they prefer to treat Dillon like garbage, like the guy on this video... Vanpool was supporting nintendo since the GBA, they even made the bizarre Tingle Games... The Mario Switch sports games are not unfinished Switch Stop, You Suck! They play fine, they aren’t Sonic 06 and Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric, and no, a game with minimal content doesn’t count as unfinished, I gave Demeech a ton of crap for that!

⁠@@NuiYabukoI highly agree, content is important sure, but what’s more important to make the game very playable also very accessible, and to iron out the bugs and glitches before release, and the Mario sports games on the Switch made sure to prioritize gameplay and to make sure that they don’t become unplayable buggy glitch filled messes.
