I recommend Squire's "When tanks dont die", or "When tanks die"

A strictly accurate comparison of British and German tanks rather than a humour one like the video had would have brought up things like the British near complete inability to reverse tanks getting them killed and the German complete lack of ability to make their tanks reliable for extended usage after the war started. And their initial tanks, while reliable were under-gunned and under-armoured. While people tend to mention the T34 as the reason why they were upgunned, the reality is that they couldn't pierce the British Matilda or French Char B1's during the Fall of France except at very close range for the former and not at all for the latter. The best example of this is how a single Char B1 was able to kill 13 Panzers of the III and IV variant in matter of minutes while taking *140* hits and safely return. Barring the very occasional vey lucky shot, the Germans had to resort to artillery to destroy them.

Although his newer videos are pretty good I'd say his older ones are a gold mine. Thank you for looking at Squire's content.

Tanks with longer guns always had that fear of bending the barrel wether it was in Urban Combat or they had to clear some Foliage the problem with some guns being long was due to them being based on an Anti-aircraft Cannon or Purposely Designed for longer ranges their lengths would vary due to this

You should watch tasty cool series by seibmoz. First couple episodes are really bad but episode 6 is where the animations are great.

Historical tank video suggestion ! "The Cologne Tank Duel" by Yarnhub. very interesting and informative video.

Though I cannot recall reading of instances such as Germans putting their tanks in that sort of situation. Another comment explained perfectly how they would worry about bending the barrel in urban warfare. The Germans realized this weakness so when in urban combat they would put themselves in a position they wouldn't have to worry to much about it. But would also be supported by various soldiers with Panzershreks or Panzersfausts. As well as being with Pak 43(anti-tank) weaponry.
