@@TC-vu9wv it seems very overpriced to me i was in best buy the other day , the sony bravia 900h 85" was the best looking TV there just about for 2,569 the q90t is $1,999 for 65 inch and not even OLED that is a lot to pay for a 65" LED TV you can do so much better IMO if i had the room for it i would have got the 900h 85" for 569 dollary doos more , 20 more inches and much better picture plus it has android i will say that for some reason the 85" 900h looked so much better than the 65" and 55" 900h next to it not just the size but everything looked better seemed like a faster refresh rate and clearer picture the 65" and 55" 900h didn't really look so good next to the other brands same and higher class at the same size

Excellent comprehensive review of the 2020 QLED interface/OS. So many tech youtubers focus on raw visual performance but not the everyday features and functunality. I really like how you didn't skip steps and showed how to get to each setting, failures and differences with the assistants and missing features, etc. Great video

Thanks Brett, monster review and walk-through. Just bought the very same TV and also have a new Note 20 Ultra too. I take delivery in 5 days and your video has made me glad to have made the decision to buy it. Jumping up from 49 inches to 65 and really excited. Have a 'Faux-K' projector with a 115 inch screen, but really looking forward to the 'black and pops'. Thanks for not banging on about OLED comparisons. Nobody I've watched has run through the entire operating system and functions like you have, so thanks again. Enjoy your dud Christmas movies!!

If i watch any hdr content and close that down and watch something else that is not hdr, the content im watching is jumping(lagging) always after watching hdr content. So i have to use the picture clarity settings and have the judder reduction on 1. Or else all other content that is not hdr is lagging. I noticed this after messing around with the hdr settings. Just subbed Brett! I like your approach to how you explain things. Even tho it has 1 HDMI 2.1 port would this tv still work well with a Xbox series X and a PS5 hooked upto it? I was gonna get a LG CX but my friend already has burn in on his tv after 2 months of gaming. So I thought this tv was a excellent choice for gaming. And I will be hooking up a HW-Q800T Samsung Dolby Atmos soundbar to it with the SWA 9000 wireless rear speakers. I’m hoping you could give me of your professional opinion on the gaming!!

I just bought a 75 inch q90t. It is wonderful - but - I made the mistake of doing a dirty screen test. The good thing, is that screen uniformity was very good. The problem I noticed - Is that I during the grey test, I could see two small slightly off colored round images (not dots) about two feet apart from each other on the screen. So, on a background which is pure white, I notice it if I look hard. I took a photo of it with my samsung S9 phone. Yes, hard to see, but it is there. And now that I know they are there, I will be focusing on them and looking for them for eternity. Thoughts? Can those small round images be resolved? Should I return the TV and get another? Or, will I maybe wind up with a worse panel. I am still in warranty - (Best buy up to Jan 16, 2021 return policy). Should I wait until 2021, when I hear the TVs will be far better than the output for 2020. Thank you to all.

Looks like i keep my nu8000 series tv for a moment still. Sure its differemt on the new tvs BUT apps are installed on the home bar when apps are installed all i have to do is to go to apps and then add it to the bare from that button. So new innovations isnt always good. Sure it might beats it in picture quality by a mile but im quote happy with it for now. It does what i needed it to do with the 120 hertz and the amount of color i can push. Google assistent can work with it but what i remembered it wasnt able to do much with shifting between the channels and so on. Funny the remote looks similair looks like they combined the 123 and the 4 colored dots into one button and made a picture in picture button? But overall looks promosing that you can hear the audio on your phone now. Thats pretty amazing. Dunno if i can do that with my tv? Moat of the new features will be killer features on these highend tvs as i have.

I "upgraded" from a Samsung 65" KS8000 to a Samsung 75"Q90T and I like it a lot for sure! I was almost discouraged from buying it after watching some reviews that complained about DSE and other issues but I can't see any issues with my set...I even played a DSE test and I don't see an issue (Maybe ignorance is bliss?! LOL) but I wonder why this TV seems to get so much "hate" so to speak. I considered buying a 77" LG Oled but (in Canada) it was almost 40% more expensive than the Qled so I decided not to go for the LG. I know that many feel that the Q90T is a bit overpriced for sure but other than the premium price I don't see a problem. I haven't tried it with a PS5 yet and some reviews mention issues with the PS5 ...I'm sure better and more expensive TV sets will be released soon-as always! but for now I'm ok with mine.

You can but you might be better with a projector for the best offline experience... this TV is mostly network enabled features.

Nice detailed video. Here is my feedback on the Q90T: In my 6-bedroom home, I have a Samsung TV 8 Series in 4 bedrooms, living, dining and den. Excluding the oldest one in the storage room, a 2003 32-inch Samsung Box TV with PIP and Subwoofer on the top. PIP in this box TV not only works between channels but also AV inputs. My first flat screen TV is a 2008 Samsung 6000 Series, which was just as good as any 8 Series in the last five years (referring to Input and all features, excluding Internet Browser ofcourse) . For the last three year, every November I’ve been buying an 8 Series to fill in all the bedrooms and every corner of my 5000 sqft home where I feel a ‘window-to-the-world’ is needed. Here’s my feedback of the 2020 Q90T 65inch. Yes, had to get the Q90 this year because the 2020 Q80 is a 2019 7 Series. I needed 8 Series equivalents. Price $2,699. Discounted Price $1,899 as on 11/26/2020 Pros: 1. None. 2. Picture quality: The “Standard” picture mode on this Q90T (QLED) is “Dynamic” on 2019 8 Series UHD TV (LED) priced at costs $549.99 as on 11/23/2019. The picture for sure is a tad brighter but you can never tell unless you are watching the two TV’s side-by-side. You are paying $1349 more for just a little more brightness in the picture. Cons: 1. Picture quality: The pro on the top is in itself a con because you are paying 3.5 times more than the 2019 8 Series UHD. QLED Vs LED is a bunch of marketing garbage. 2. Sources: 1. HDMI - When switching between input sources the picture gets Black for a couple of annoying seconds that makes you feel like 10,000 years. I have two Sony Receivers 1040 and 1080 a PS3 and PS3 hooked on to all the four HDMI inputs. When switching between sources there are two screens that the TV displays before the actual source. First the name of the source (example PS3/PS4) a black screen and then the content of the source. If switching between any source to the Sony 1040 Receiver, you’ll have to take the remote of that receiver to choose ‘watch’ option. When switching to the Sony 1080 Receiver, you ’Il have to wait a couple second to watch the content. 2. Digital Receiver - There is none. So, no local channels even if you have the Antenna hooked up. 3. USB - External HDD is takes forever to download. Had the TV for a week, so far couldn’t watch anything yet, it’s still trying to connect. Once on External HDD it will not to switch to USB stick. You’ll have to choose a HDMI source from the Home>Source and select USB. 3. Network: on the first day it connected to my Wi-Fi during setting up. Turned it on the next day, it won’t connect to Wi-Fi anymore. Need to use Cable to connect to the internet. I needed this option so I can watch Videos and Pictures on my WDMyCloud. Was able to do it the first day but Wi-Fi won’t connect so cannot. 4. Tizen is a bunch of marketing garbage. Means nothing. Who cares what the Operating system is when its no better then Samsung 2018 and 2019 8 Series UHD LED TV’s. 5. Game Mode: Means nothing. When choosing PS4, it says ‘Game Mode’. This doesn’t mean anything. Previous generation 8 series are just as good without any drama of displaying Game Mode. Any positive comments by anyone else is the psychological effect for paying more for a product with a bunch of marketing terms (QLED, Tizen, Game Mode etc.) thrown at it. Save your money and buy any cheapest Samsung 8 series you can find. A 55-inch Samsung TV for safe viewing between 10 to 15 feet should be enough. Technology is getting better. Prices are getting lower. These are untrue statements. Because in 2020 you are paying for a Q90 that performs the same as a 2008 6000 Series. For at least the last 5-7 years this is the case with all devises from cell phone to laptops, cars and everything.
