Too much ego! If he really had a high number of men requesting testosterone, he’ll need to show research such as men who asked for testosterone prior to the video and the number of men who asked after the video. Then out of those numbers you’ll have to specifically ask whether watching this channel was a contributing factor. Which I guarantee did not happen… that research wasn’t conducted. I guarantee you one guy probably said “I saw this video on KZread…” and he didn’t want to do the paperwork for it and was stressed on the E.R. Floor and that one case caused him so much anguish he needed a scapegoat. I’m sure he was like “this is an ER room! For emergencies and this one guy comes in asking for testosterone because of this KZread video”. Guarantee

That ER doctor who sent the email was just a grumpy hater that thinks everything on the internet is bad. At worst he had a couple people ask if whatever they have might be linked to testosterone levels because they saw a video talking about it. Also, that's not the only channel to discuss this matter. It's actually a pretty trendy subject. He seems to project everything he heard online about the subject on that one channel (because there is a lot of misinformation crap out there, put on by other people).

I was a desk worker retrained 5 years ago as a PT (no where near level of a doctor) but ur videos on the CV system, muscles, all that jazz and how it actually works provides me MORE gifted detail than my actual qualification. Honestly I can’t thank u enough for bringing this level of knowledge and detail to a profession that in most places doesn’t get that detail unless u can afford uni and do sports science. I’ve recommended u to clients and collegues because it’s so enlightening. Also makes us humble- we whinge and complain when we can’t deadlift our body weight on a bar but ur channel has highlighted how many body processes and body CELLS and hormones and systems need to be functioning perfectly enough for us to even try. Having the hissy fit is a gift. So is the channel. Please keep it up :) ❤ Love, UK PT 🇬🇧

I remember reading about HRT treatment for menopausal women causing very high rates of cancer? I was hoping the doc would talk about it, but I looked it up and yes a womans cancer risk goes up with HRT. Its not recommended at all for women who have had any kind of cancer. And not recommended to take for long as it increases risks of dementia. If these drugs are so risky for the right sex, how could they possibly be safe for people with the wrong sex?

As a person whose received an orchidectomy (left testicle removal due to cancer) I've no idea what my testosterone levels are, but I'm 53, it happened in 2010, and everything both works and a high sex drive exists. I've a shaved head as hairloss developed in my late 40s, so testosterone videos are interesting. Regarding the ER doc concerned about young guys presenting at the ER with low testosterone concerns. Lots of young people, especially with lower incomes do not have a GP nor do the understand how medical services are provided. If as youngsters they where taken to the ER for every condition they don’t understand that a “doc in a box” let alone a GP is an appropriate more cost effective option. Is there some way we could educate people as to the appropriate point of service? Love your videos!

I do appreciate that you are willing and able to speak so openly about so many "not discussed" subjects that I am rather surprised and yet not surprised that you have been questioned on your discussion. Let's be honest here. Men are generally rather concerned and protective of their maleness. The young males most particularly. I do believe that the over-worked ER doctor needs to maybe learn to be more empathic with both sexes when it comes to the delicate discussion of hormone levels and what to be aware of, as you have discussed with your audiences on several videos. Thank you for your honesty and humour on what can be a delicate subject at times.

I remember that you said before that knee pains might come from weak muscles surrounding knees. When I feel something strange on my knees, I use a foam roller a little longer than normal on quads, hamstrings, IT bands, calves, and so on. It usually solves the "strange" feeling of my knees. Your suggestions, opinions and explanation of biomechanics are very useful.

Awesome video, especially for males. Such a mighty hormone! And no, you haven't told anyone that ''Low T'' is a ''bad thing'' but rather explained the benefits for men (AND) women, even though these effects don't impact women as much. Male or female, both parties should understand their hormones.PS: Very nice addition to answer critique, it is very common and also very interesting to hear you respond.

I'm only commenting about this because you asked for feedback: I don't think this particular response was necessary because the first point was already addressed in the other video and the second point was simply stupid as no one goes to the ER for low testosterone. However, if you got an email or comment that was thought provoking or legitimate and you wanted to share a response, I'd find that interesting unlike this response. I learn SOOOO much from your videos and I really appreciate you taking the time to create them! Great work!!!

A lot of men online have been so sensitive about every little thing effecting their testosterone lately. Can’t eat this, gotta do this or that workout. Meanwhile women have been taking hormonal birth control for like, what, 80 years now! I don’t hear them complaining nearly as much as we do.

I don't care much about the heart attack hormone that manipulates my mind. I sure wouldn't mind having a lower level of it. i do a fair amount of running but its not like I have to be the fastest and best runner or whatever so some women get impressed. like cancer is an impressive example of evolution hormones like testosterone show us vividly that we are just biological robots running that code that is written in our dna. kinda depressing.

Hi! I love all the videos that you and the team make, and this vid is no exception! Do you think you could ever make a video about what testosterone does to transgender men who inject it, as one myself, or would it be so similar that there's no need? Thank you for everything you've taught me and everyone else! :)

I like the responses. As a medical provider, too many of us don’t understand the concept of health optimization and being proactive about health. I wish I would have had my T checked back in my 20s or 30s as a basis of comparison so I would know how to best optimize now. Also, I’ve never in my 20+ years in the medical profession ever seen a patient present to the ED asking for a T test.
