Sonia Grace that's what brothers/family does. Damon was gonna sacrifice himself for the town and for Stefan until Stefan gave him the cure and he passed out, Damon was gonna die for him until he did it first.

Elena said in the season 3 finale that se will never unfall from Stefan and a couple of episodes later she said she wasn't in love with him anymore... I hate the writers for ruining the best relationship in tvd. 😢
