What makes Hook the exception to villains rule is, he didn't take or steal or lie or cheat for his happy ending, he earned it. He did everything he could to help Emma, to make her happy, even when she didn't reciprocate the same feelings, he was still there for her. And eventually she fell for him as well, that's what makes Killian a hero and not a villain

+Dylan Parker To be fair though in the end Regina did a lot to change even had light magic. And then 'marian' got pregnant. Makes you understand his fear of losing Emma especially the end.

Charmings are pissing me off; they have a nasty history behind thm and they STILL doubt Killian, when he's done nothing but be there for Emma from the get go. Seriously....

Cute McBeauty My exact words on this episode ending: I officially hate the Charmings. They are the epitome of hypocrisy. They enacted the part of villains long ago and never fully owned it. And ever since have held many people around them to standards they themselves have not kept - and judged those people as inadequate. *Especially* Killian. I have disliked them ever since it became clear they treated Emma more as a means to an end than a daughter, since they favoured a man that treated her abominably and named their son after him. Those things made me waver in liking them and eventually made me lose patience with them. But their treatment of Maleficent in this episode? It pushed me over the edge.

Ow. I love you so much for making these. It is beautiful. I love how it shows Emma changing from not trusting Killian at the slightest reason (or no reason at all) to her trusting him completely. She even trusted him to go on his own against one of the QoD to bring back someone's happy ending (the job that you just showed she sees as her responsibility) with no back up or her help (she trusted him to get her if needed but also trusted him to do it on his own). She even stands up for him against her parents (seriously, what does a guy got to do to get a bit of trust and Snow that look had better not been a Emma should be with August because he was never a villain so I don't have to worry about my baby girl turning evil through sharing the same air as him because I really trust my daughter I just don't think she is capable of staying good without doing extreme things that I shouldn't). I love this (sorry that episode and this video has me in so many feels and that was me trying to tone it down. Excellent work as always.

I loved this so much! Loved seeing the earlier scenes woven in - made it so much more meaningful. I enjoyed this episode tonight far more than earlier season 4 ones, but I have to say, overall, I have been deeply disappointed with this season. And have even felt Captain Swan, whom I love so much, has not been written well. I still think the actors have crazy chemistry and there have been some sweet moments between them in s4, but it is nothing like the potential they are capable of. Nothing like we saw in season 2 and 3. I was starting to lose hope. Tonight's episode helped; your fan vid helped much more. You reminded me of how much I love them. Of how much they're capable of. I'm still in. Once again, you've given me hope.
