Can I ask what you did with your skin? I'm new to the world of skincare and I'm totally confused and frustrated because I really want to have a routine too. Now I see that many people say that all these ten-step routines are pointless and it's best to just cleanse, moisturize, and then just apply sunscreen. That's all that's needed. What are your experiences? I really just want smooth, even, glowing, clear skin.😭

@@sheeshanotmaa7702 so I focused on one goal at a time and my first goal was managing breakouts especially during that time of the month. That was one to two steps. Now I’m working on my texture and I’ve added the step of exfoliation to my routine. My last dyspigmentation, but I haven’t started that process yet. These two goals plus maintaining and protecting My skin barrier are the only things that I’m focused on rn. @sheeshanotmaa7702 It's not so much that serums, essences, and stuff are useless. But they aren't necessary, tackle specific problems and just add active ingredients to your routine. So start with double cleansing, maybe add a hydrating toner but it's not really mandatory, apply a good moisturiser and apply sunscreen. Good and adapted products bring good, healthy skin. Then, with time, see if your skin needs other products to help or if you just want to up your routine up, you can add more. Take into account that not everyone is born the same and genes play a big part in the maintenance your skin will need. For example, my cousin doesn't need many products. But me, even with a more extensive routine I have a few problems that need more care but my skin is indeed healthier than her overall

@koraxacollins9645

I imagine you'd treat it like an oil cleanser or pretreatment. Massage into your scalp a bit before your shower, maybe 10 mins. I assume your hair is detangled already so getting to your scalp shouldn't be an issue, but I don't see why diluting it with a little bit of water to make it more workable would be an issue. Maybe try using shampoo you already have, which I know might not have active ingredients, but just giving an idea of what it might be like to use a product in that way.

Isn’t the active for anti fungal? Are you saying this anti fungal can clear your hair hence helping it grow better or is it an ingridients that can help hair growth regardless if you have dandruff or fungal on your scalp or not?
@acarcarazza
2 ай бұрын
You’re right that it’s an anti-fungal, but I’ve read that it might actually also help with alopecia. I wish she gave more detail because I don’t think it would help people without hair loss grow their hair faster or anything, and it might not help people who are losing hair for other reasons. And it can be very drying apparently, and it can have some side effects including hair-fall (I know, seems counterintuitive, but yeah) or changing the colour and texture of your hair. I also really don’t think you’re supposed to use a shampoo like this every wash, especially if you wash your hair frequently. I was prescribed a shampoo with the same active ingredient by a dermatologist for dandruff, however, I haven’t used it yet, because of the side effects I mentioned. I don’t have hairfall, just some very, very, light dandruff. He prescribed it because I don’t react well to salicylic acid, which would be a ‘gentler’ option without these side-effects (for dandruff, I mean), so he didn’t have much else to suggest. I decided the potential side effects weren’t worth it, since what I’m experiencing is very minor, and am going to ask for a second opinion. I wish dermatologists would disclose all of these things when they prescribe or recommend products. I wouldn’t want people who don’t strictly need this potentially ruining their hair for nothing.

What about kojic acid? Is that something you recommend? I usually use a kojic acid bar soap for my body with those super soft exfoliating gloves to get all body care, oils and grime off and it’s a good first step for using my Moroccan exfoliating gloves to be able to get all the dead skin off (because if someone tries to use those gloves with body care still on their skin like lotions or sunscreen, or they are just oily then their won’t be enough friction for the exfoliating gloves to work and roll all that dead skin off. The last step I do for my body is use a hydrating cleanser like LRP cleansing oil, bioderma cleansing oil or naturium glow body oil cleanser

Nizoral is great if you don’t have allergies or sensitive skin. If you do, dandruff shampoo from the brand Jason also does the trick; it has sulfur in it and it’s the one I use a few times a month with apple cider vinegar rinses to keep my scalp healthh
I have tried all your hacks recommendations and love them. Thank you for helping us with our problems

Definitely going to try the nizoral! This summer has been hell on my hair so far! Also for everyone going to buy these products make sure you check the expiration on them! Medicated shampoos do have a shorter life span and they are often over looked in stores.
1. Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo (Ketoconazole-helps grow hair) Put it on the area where is thinning before showering, and let it sit before taking a shower. 2. Pan Oxyl Acne Creamy Wash (benzoyl peroxide if you have acne) (if you have oily skin or sebaceous filament- use something with sulphur or salicylic acid) Also leave on for sometime before washing it off
I have a prescription for shampoo like that! The ingredient that starts with a K is actually an anti-fungal! My derm told me dandruff is caused by fungal overgrowth. Who knew?! I can’t wait for science to catch up on all this microbiome stuff we’re just cracking the surface on 😍

U might want to try kerastase's symbiose shampoo w an alternative antifungal, but I'd probably start w Derma e's Psorzema shampoo if price is a issue. The antifungal they use is tea tree oil which has been shown in clinical studies to not only address fungus but promote hair growth as well specifically it showed efficacy in treating alopecia areata, androgenetic alopecia, and psoriatic alopecia. Hope this helps

(Plus, I try my best not to pick my face and body, yet it's a habit of mines especially if I am bored or anxious)
I got a lot of teaching today services. God bless you manual Johnson,
One good tip I learned was to wash hair first, then face and then the body last because the hair conditioner could lead to back acne if not washed off properly.

I use PanOxyl on my Cane Corso's face for canine acne. My previous CC was plagued with this and his face would actually bleed, so my new CC puppy just began to develop canine acne and I began using PanOxyl on her face and the acne is just about gone. My husband uses it under his arms in the summer to fight arm pit smell because deodorant alone just doesn't cut it for him.

I usually just get into the shower, wet my hair, apply the shampoo thoroughly through the scalp and do the rest of the shower stuff trying to not get my head under the water until the very end. It works well for me. Dilute it with water. I add a couple tablespoons of water into a cup, mix it with shampoo and then apply it to my scalp. I leave it in for the time I brush my teeth and then hop in the shower. This way the leave in time is 5-6 minutes only.
Isn’t the active for anti fungal? Are you saying this anti fungal can clear your hair hence helping it grow better or is it an ingridients that can help hair growth regardless if you have dandruff or fungal on your scalp or not?
@acarcarazza
Thank you so very much for your information on hair loss. I absolutely love and appreciate your videos.

However I prefer to wet my hair in the shower, put the shampoo in, and then do everything else i need to do in there with the shampoo still in (i.e. cleanse the body/face, shave, etc..) Anti dandruff shampoos will do that I'm afraid. I did alot of research on natural ways to strip hair dye build-up and their recommendation is anti dandruff shampoos along with vitamin C tablets.

@@sweetie2298 I know normal anti dandruff ones do, like Head and Shoulders, but I presumed because this was a specialist ingredient product, and because in every video I've ever seen that suggests it, not once did anyone mention that it strips hair colour I presumed it'd be fine 😭😭

How long should you let certain products sit?
Its specifically meant for people with dandruff. Its an anti fungal shampoo No where it says that it actually helps grow hair

That’s actually what inwas thinking. And if it made hair grow, it must have a way of stimulating follcular keratinocytes. We need to know how jt does this

This is an off topic question but what mascara do you use? Your eyes always look amazing
What can we use for body acne? In the shower? Kindly help me with this information.

I started using antidandruff shampoo recently and it has significantly reduced hair fall, it also helps reduce product buildup on my scalp which gives me forehead acne.
i also use sebizole my doctor recommended it and it also has ketoconazole
Can we use these tips as preventatives
I originally bought Nizoral for the acne that was caused by masks during COVID. Then I started using it on my hair, tons of growth.
I read that piroctone olamine also works for hair loss. Do you know if this is true?
Can you do natural options?
Panoxyl is a good product but be advised it can bleach colored clothing and towels because of the BP.
Is Head and Shoulders ok to use or must it be Nizoral?
Awesome tips!
I have never had problems with dandruff, but my scalp gets oily quickly, and I experience significant hair loss due to androgenic alopecia. Should I use Nizoral?
That cleanser is GREAT at neutralizing the bacteria that causes oder from armpits! Put some on your pits for roughly 30 seconds then wash.
Hmm i think ill try nizoral. Its more expensive than other anti dandruff shampoos but like.. i guess i buy salon shampoo/conditioner...so...im not sure my hesitation😂😂 😅

most other anti danfldruff stuff o see don’t contain ketoconazole so that might have to do with it
I do like Nizoral shampoo but its extremely pricey. Are there less expensive alternatives?

Hi! Will Nozoral remove your colour from toned hair?
Is the shampoo is suitable for type 4 hair?
Is the OTC shampoo enough to help hair loss? Or do you need prescription 2% Ketoconazole to make a difference?
Are the products recommended by this doctor endocrinien friendly ? Or they mess up your hormones
Many people have sulphate deficiency. If you take supplements you can treat it from within. The root cause instead of highly processed chemicals.

i don’t think using another shampoo after would negate any benefits. the active ingredient still got to sit on your scalp and get to work so that counts 😊
