Hey guys! You are doing amazing work. I have a bit of a situation at hand atm; I am on a Tier 2 visa working with a Bristol based Tech company, whilst my wife is an MS ENT doing her SRship with the same hospital. We are confused what pathway to choose, 1.MRCS -> GMC-> Applying directly for NHS registrar jobs (or SHO? Is it possible to get registrarship directly?) 2. Mch in Otorhinolaryngology at Edge hill and completing MRCS (I am hoping for her to atleast get the Part A done before the course starts) concurrently. Also, can the process of reaching the ST-7/8 (Consultant) be expedited? Or mandatory 5-6 Years of surgical medical training needs to be done before writing the FRCS exam? Thanks a ton for all the information 😊

If i have done my MS, MRCS, MCh, (oncosurgery), am i eligible to appear for iFRCS general surgery? Because technically 3 year MS and 3 year MCh amounts to 6 years of post MBBS experience.
