I have disabled the afterfire/backfire solenoid to make this lawn tractor work, I just cut the center shaft sort on the solenoid.

Aye as long as the socket doesn't stick and you don't break your wrists doing it, then nicely done. They used to make an adapter you could put on the flywheel of a push mowers that also came with a rubber plug drill insert that pretty much acted the same way as this but with less of a risk that the socket method comes with.

Funny thing is I almost broke my wrist doing that with the drill once, my wife was standing right next to me telling me, "that looks dangerous."

My friend done his scooter that way and the drill stuck to it i was laughing he was really pissed off but it was pretty funny. I still don't have those so i can't do it

@@Mike-su8si yeah lol, I've seen neighbors unthread the bolt and send the flywheel and fan zooming around the driveway. I'm not telling you to start it this way, just showing you it's that simple, sometimes.

I'll just rewire it once i get it with no safety switches so i do take all those out from every one of my mowers

That stuff ain't gonna work for me push buttons don't like to work when they get wet but the key will i don't have no drill back in the woods or way back in the field you know i don't own any that size what i have done though was wired up a other battery to the battery and i leave the red wire unplugged until i may need it

You didn't wanna fuck with that mower anymore cause its missing a few little stator wires and those things whats that a tecumseh engine or briggs No Kohlers are always hooked up with a bunch of different relays that the engine really doesn't need 6 or 7 relays for it to start up and idle and you use the mower to cut it doesn't need them all anyhow they act as how a ignition solenoid does
