I cussed one out cause he came in right in front of me after that second (im pretty sure it was a shark) i was putting another rig on, and he pulls up! I told him the back of your boats right where ive been casting, i then call them so cussy word names) he says ok ok im moving. First cast after he moves i caught a monster sheepshead, its easily 22”! And it was shrimp from the beach bums!

My heart is broken. I’ve been trying to get back for over 30 years to Florida. End of the jetty on rocks, would’ve been no problem. But now, I’m 77 years old. I have another knee replacement. That’s needs to come up pretty soon. But I know myself. I may not be able to walk all the way out on the jetty, but I’m going to do the best I can. I miss fishing so much. I miss fresh fish whatever I want it.. then there is the crabs and shrimp. The laws have changed so much. My head is spinning. It is difficult for me to be an armchair fisherman. Meantime, I can live vicariously, even if it is not as satisfying as doing it yourself. Hooking that fish and bringing it in.

When the ice finally goes out on July 28 and is back in solid by August 2nd it makes for a short season, ha ha ha. I have friends in Florida but I don't understand how they can live on the surface of the sun for so many months a year. It must be a Southern thing, LOL -- den
