DF does strike me as the kind of person to be unfazed by being locked into a cabin and forced to play a card game to the death. Unusual that he hasn't poked his nose into every secret the cabin holds, though.

Eyyy, I did a playthrough of this, too! I love this game, thrilled to see you play it!!! Tips: Right-click the sigils to learn what they do - it brings the book up The flying symbol attached to the shield blocks opposing flying cards When you chose the campfire over the rock thingy with the rune -- that symbol is to sacrifice a card with a sigil and give that sigil to another one of your cards Hope this helps!!

God I love DF but watching this was sometimes physically painful. He's learning but the road to competency here is pretty rough to witness

@@dakotashroom5401 The player cards can be great. Just beat the first half(?) of the game, and in the battle against eyeballs where he turns the old player cards against you, I used the fish hook to grab back a supremely OP one. He stood no chance~

I'm surprised that DF didn't take the Ouroboros. The perfect card for someone that likes sacrificing things and also get the card stronger Everytime it dies

I love this game and I heard they are making physical cards to play with, I sure hope I can actually pluck out a tooth to get more life. Doesn't have to be mine right?

my friends will hate it when i use the scissors item to destroy their cards 20 times during the fight and learn to fear pack rats

You can customize your figurine in Kaycee's mod, which is the official beta mod that adds more cards, items, and challenges to Act 1. Oh, but the advice you clearly need most is that the right-click on effects brings up the rulebook page on them. So some rules may be obscured, like the ones pertaining to the tentacle creatures, but most others are offered freely by the game. For instance, the Alpha's effect raises the attack of adjacent creatures by one, hence rocks, trees, or usually powerless creatures being able to attack. And Mantis God's effect attacks once for each space in front, front-right, and front-left. It's similar to the Pronghorn's bisected double attack.

Even after watching Markiplier And Game theory finish this game already I'm so hype for the DF experience!!!

I love how DF is like a kid in a horror movie. There is a lot going on, he doesn't see anything and just keep on having fun while ignoring the monsters in the dark. Lovely

Having known and loved this game for a little while, the implication that after defeating the cards on the board, Stoat would just go for (We’ll call him the cabin owner shall we? To avoid spoilers?) the cabin owner’s face in order to win the fight is both hilarious and entirely in character.

But it didn't take out the squirrel? at the start of the turn it was buffed by the alpha, which then died, meaning the rock went back to 0 attack before it could attack

I love Inscryption, saw it very early one before a lot of videos and played it, I’m glad the Kacee’s mod update is here in beta, gives it a new fresh taste. Very cool! Good video. Hope you play more.

If you right click on the sigil (which is between the health and damage) you'll see what it's ability is

a tip for next time: the drawer puzzles are meant to mimic battles. the top row means the piece will attack you next time, the higher middle row means the piece is in play and attacking you, the lower middle means that the piece is in play and attacking your opponent, and the bottom row means the piece is in your hand. the number on the right is how much damage you need to do in one turn to win. if you do not deal enough damage, your turn is reset and you can try a different combination

However, sometimes creating your own cards is its own kind of fun. I hope you end up creating another card that represents how you've been playing this fun card game.

DF, you can get a knife through the puzzles, just get he caged wolf killed then grab the wolf sculpture and put it by the squirrel one!

This vid finally motivated me to buy this game. It looks creepy, but also shows a lot of strategy.

DF if you are wondering about what the alpha does then basiclly the alpha gives the cards on its sides 1 attack you can see it in 15:12 where the squirell has 1 attack (previously 0)

If you want to break the game like you usually do, get an ouroboros and the squirrel totem that gives you infinite squirrels (squirrel head with the skull and arrows around it, the same as the ouroboros). It returns the squirrel back to your inventory and allows you to break the game. You can make the ouroboros as strong as you want. Then you can add that card to your custom card after you die, giving you more broken cards. Just a lil’ tip :D

Ouroboros. It's one of the rare cards you were offered. Sacrifice it. It returns to your hand, but stronger. You can do this as many times as you want. It will continue to get stronger. It will never reset. It's stupidly powerful.

Im just imagining DF as soon as he learns what to do with ouroboros

Play through this all please, DF!!!

Ouroboros is a very good card. It's damage and health are upped by one each time it dies, and it's got the sigil that makes it return to your hand after death. Also, the stats carry over to the next battle, so you can make it impossibly strong.

You should play Idle Dice. I think it’s be real cool.

It's great to watch you play this DF, but you should prob know that right clicking a sigil will bring up the rulebook so you can see what it does. Also, pay attention to Leshy's description of the cards, he gives tips to or straight out says what the card does. Aside from that, I hope you're enjoying playing Inscryption.
