But you are right, Porsche shoulder give garage queen owners option to make all plastic carbon. Maybe take your car to the Porsche Sonderwunsch division for Porsche carbon placement. 2. @ExoticCarHacks The STO is cool in concept and almost bought one except I don't fit. The STO is designed for flash. UGR STO builds are on the next level. The STO market also tanked over the last year. To your point though. I LOVE my 992 TTS, yet hate my 4RS. I have a PTS 3RS that's set to arrive soon, but even that car won't replace the NA thrills of my ACR-E Viper. I think you and I can agree on a major point, we like cars that all around perform for any use.

I like the 992 gt3 RS. And I see the point your making, but all you really said was that it doesn't have enough carbon and it's hard to shut the door. Not everyone cares about that and that's not really to significant in my opinion.

@@tyranic1 Might be because the porsche is going for higher than its sticker price by like 100k rn. It is £192,000 for the base model if you wanted to spec one but it is pretty much impossible to get an allocation to get it at the moment without having a porsche buying history. On autotrader the Mclaren Senna he was comparing starts from £700,000 and goes all away to £1.5 million.
You clearly don’t get the purpose of this car and are more concerned about carbon fiber than this cars intended function of use. Everything is there for a reason, not for beauty……it’s called form follows function. If you were looking strictly for aesthetic beauty you’re GT3 Touring probably has this car beat. I’m not even going to be one of these guys who gives you shit for having a 3RS and not tracking it, because it’s your car to do what you should be able to do what you want with it, but until you really experience the cornering of this car and how all those aesthetic bits (that you hate) work to keep it planted to the road, like no other production car I’ve ever experienced, you won’t appreciate it …..and unfortunately south Florida is about the worst environment for this car with virtually every road being straight and flat.

How does adding a 50,000 package from the dealer to change the parts for carbon hurt the function of the car? You guys literally will defend a brand no matter what. It is more profit for the brand. It is literally a win-win and rather than understanding that you want to go and defend someone's bad decision and this is why so many of you suck at life. it's because you can't understand that you made a mistake or could do something better and therefore improve your business

@@Tential1 there is no $50k package from the Porsche dealer first of all and what PJ failed to mention compared to other cars he mentioned is the STO is roughly a $425k car, or a more than $100k more expensive than this car. And a GT2 RS didn’t come with any more carbon than this car and that also was a more expensive car (back in 2018 they $345k ish MSRP so adjusted for inflation about $390k now). This whole getting mad over carbon fiber thing is dumb anyways, he’s complaining that he can’t put his gym bag in the frunk because downforce and cooling took precedence, and that the lightweight doors are hard to close because they are ……ummm extremely lightweight carbon fiber (oh btw the GT2 RS didn’t have carbon fiber doors they were much cheaper metal but didn’t mention that when he was complaining about Porsche cheaping out). The best part of all this is that I’m not even a huge Porsche fanboy, I just dislike when people that clearly don’t know what they’re talking about start dick riding

@@Tential1 sounderwunsh division from Porsche can make that a reality. Porsche expects ppl who drive RS products to track it. If you track cars, you will know how expensive tires, rotors, and brake jobs add up. So why add carbon and add to your cost of repairs and risk waiting for a long time for parts.

If I were a car flipper my collection wouldn't stay 75% the same for months and years at a time. I try the new shit and review it because I have students and clients who buy their own personal cars using my strategies and care to know my opinion. Your version of the truth of who I am is baseless.

The vast majority of people that buy this car are not going to track it just like the vast majority of people that buy a G-Wagon aren't going to off-road it. You don't get having money.... Many of the cars that get sold again have no miles.

Stop bitching about the carbon. You are the one who chooses to pay over list. The Senna costs way more than the Porsche retail. You are comparing Apples and Oranges because you CAN from$ perspective.
A rich car guy complaining about the functionality of some parts….insane. The plastic parts are meant to be replaceable and if you think you can replace them if they were to be carbon fiber, others might not have that luxury or feel like replacing it if it was carbon fiber due to the high prices of these parts. 6:00 You already knew what you’re getting yourself into when you bought the GT3 RS. If you didn’t like the fact that it is track focused might have as well bought one of the Turbo line ups instead of whining about things like a kid. No motor journalist or an owner has complained about almost all of the features, if not all, that you have mentioned. Instead of insulting a well renowned brand with over 75years of experience in motorsports and car making, maybe settle for something else and hopefully we don’t hear you crying again.

he is a P and barely drives his cars fast on the street, let alone on the track.
How are you going to compare it to a car that is 2-3X the cost? You want a road car, then gt3 touring. You want carbon or custom fabrics? Then CXX exclusive or Sonderwunsch program.
I am a bona fide track rat. I have two race cars and a 2019 GT3RS. I also have a track membership. He compares the GT3RS to that Lamborghini, I’m not sure which model that is. What I see at the track are lots of Porsches, GT3s and GT3RS‘s. I have in fact replace a few of the plastic parts on my GT3RS from track damage. One thing I don’t see at the track are full out carbon fiber, Lamborghinis, or even McLarens. I should say, I see them very rarely, and usually by people who are not track rats like myself. Those cars are just too impractical for regular track use, and they cost a lot more than the Porsches do.

Funny how everyone equates the carbon fiber bits to ultra expensive cars yet there's aftermarket carbon fiber functional splitters for the 86/BRZ platform. Definitely not 50 grand either, so where does that leave Porsche? By the way, he did mention this needed to be more like your 991 GT3 RS, so maybe give him the benefit of the doubt instead of just falling for the marketing hook, line and sinker.

He's right though, for a 2023 car costing that much I'd expect it to be quicker in a straight line than a 7 year old family car like a BMW M5...but it's not.
I own a 992 GT3 RS and I use it on the road and I track it regularly. I can tell you that this car is the road-legal car the closest to a race car you can buy and I LOVE IT 🤩! Great driving experience on the road and amazing on track if you are experienced enough to leverage the aero. And I don't mind at all that many parts are plastic and not carbon fiber. THANK YOU FOR THIS AMAZING CAR, PORSCHE! 🙏

That makes sense, and you're looking at it as a brand person but I'm looking at it as a person who would be a potential shareholder thinking that Porsche is purposely screwing the shareholders over. It's the same reason why I don't like ferrari, because they refuse to make a manual car knowing full well that they could charge a lot of money and make the shareholders a ton of money. Nvidia never does this. If they know you have a dollar, they ask for two. Everything he asked for is just an additional package that they could add and since they're making 4,000 of these vehicles and it's essentially mass-produced now you can add these options. I swear some of you guys don't understand how money works

The fact that you compare a senna (1m +) and an STO to a Porsche gt3rs just that alone shows you have no idea what Porsche enthusiast are about. “Drives very slow on a straight line” 3.2s 0-60. Are you telling us you are able to feel the difference from other of your cars cause of that? I guess is more about the sensation the car gives you and a v10 it’s probably more impressive in terms of sensations. By the way a 991 is 10s slower than this one on a lap on Nurburgring and this is a track focused car . You don’t understand Porsches philosophy even owning the most expensive and iconic ones. Money can buy everything but the mentally.

I have a 18' GT2 RS I track and drive daily. My husband has a PTS 24' GT3 RS on order since November 2023. He is going to use it for the track. A few days ago, Porsche axed the PTS option without any explanation. There were several PTS allocations canceled and no legitimate explanation has been provided. It is shitty and arrogant of Porsche to do this to people who have specifically ordered a GT car with PTS allocation. I have lost a lot of respect for Porsche because of this and we are now debating on bagging the allocation and moving to another brand.

Great video. I had one of the lower end Porsches for three years. Yes, it rides as if it's on rails. But, not one of my friends liked the ride nor the sound (again, it was a lower end Porsche). Most actually preferred the Corvette Stingray (2016) I had prior to the Porsche--talk about overuse of plastic and wild fishtailing! Nonetheless, they liked the American over the German. If you choose to sell this car, what are you looking to get for it in terms of total out-the-door price?
You seem to be hung up on carbon, but the ABS does it's job. Glock doesn't make a carbon fiber pistol, yet it's one of the best pistols made. Your car is half as cheap as your other cars but the ADM makes it not so. My 992T is missing all kinds of things I would have got if I bought a Z06 but I didn't want a Z06. That said; thanks for sharing your car. I bet it's a blast to drive.

The problem isn't the lack of carbon alone. It's the price tag. Paying 300k for a car that is not even a supercar and Porsche skimps us on the Carbon. It's not the quality we expected out of porsche, or the price tag. The performance is phenomenal. but its not work the high price. It's been over hyped way too much.

@@DD450 I’m not sure what you’re smoking, but there are two in my province, one is listed for $350K USD and the other is listed for $380k USD. 🤣🤣 a KZreadr just traded his $250K MSRP Urus for a new GT3 RS a few weeks ago in the “exposing Porsche dealers” video that went viral. The Lambo dealer was the one who offered to trade btw, the Urus has far more demand than the Porsche. Stop believing the hype, no one is buying these anymore.

Its a gt3RS...its meant to be more affordable than cars like lambos. And the RS is meant to dominate at the track first and foremost but also be a reliable car used on the street. So it's meant to be lightweight which means sacrificing some comforts and it means going max effort on aero. If you want a better street car thats fantastic on the track? Get the non RS gt3

Basically comparing track oriented cars, the different 3RS is so reliable on track than those 2 others. Bring them to any tracks, drive them hard like more than 50 laps, 3RS will still run. Carbon everywhere does not make a car become real race car.
Plastic actually does make sense for the track where you're gonna get bombarded by debris that protective film won't guard you from. Regardless, for people who are much more interested in showing off their cars, carbon fiber should be an option. It's kind of surprising Porsche doesn't offer it given how much they love to overcharge their customers for anything extra. I personally wouldn't buy anything from the 992 generation given how ugly they look to me. It's gonna be tough for them to surpass the perfection that was the 991 generation.

Weissach is actually pronounced as if the name starts with a V. It's pronounced "vice" - as in Miami Vice ... and "ach" as in Bach. Not wheeze-atch or wuss-ick. Also, The correct way to pronounce Porsche is with two syllables, “Por-shuh.” By your logic, none of the cares you own are track cars. Not even the Senna. Also, you are talking trash as if you didn’t already know that there were plastic parts on the car, and you still bought the car. SMH 😂
What about the normal GT3? I really like the 992 GT3 and would like your opinion on it?
People will look at this review and not understand It. he is giving Porscye a license to print even more money and Porsche is not taking it. This is similar to Ferrari refusing to build manual cars despite the fact that they could charge hundreds of thousands of dollars more. It's actually fraud against the shareholders.
My 2024 Golf R had the same issue with the doors not shutting. Easy fix, OBD11 and set it so the windows crack when the doors open, breaks the seal and makes them close better. Window then rolls up after the door closes.

Beautiful Senna and one of the best colors I have seen on it. Would love to drive it! Also, the 992 Gt3 Rs you picked has the worst color, I feel Guards Red /Gt Silver/ Ice Grey Metallic would have looked superb on it instead of Arctic Grey, especially along with your car collection. Totally agree with you on the cheap plastic bits and the brand cheaping out a bit, as well as the markups from dealerships. Thanks for your content.

Totally agree to the carbon issue. But with Manthey carbon parts you won't lose warranty. For the GT4 RS they already have some more carbon parts.

He doesn't look at a car just from a pure driving standpoint, but from all aspects. He's one of the few reviewers that's actually obsessed with how the car looks., which is important since he's going to resell the car eventually. He picks up on what a lot of people miss out on because they are dealing with the brand rather than just getting the car themselves

I have owned many Porsches and i love them but they went down hill in 2007 and 2011 when they discontinued putting manual option on the turbos and gt3 rs if it’s not a proper manual and is a paddle thing i won’t own it. They took all the fun out of their cars, they used to be the last purest driving car but with out a manual who cares what it is, because all the fun has been stripped out of owning one 😔

Honestly i really understand a front bumper and splitter in plastic, thats maybe a 80% race car and 20% road car, i believe they created a race car with a few details to give more confort, fenders and side intake yeah... should be carbon, actually love the hood 😆in comparison with the STO, it has more carbon, but from a few reviews on track the car is shit and very unstable, i would pick the GT3 RS all day. I'll give you the doors - it's annoying and no one ever talks about it, so in a sense, I'm gratified I'm not the only one who suffers from this; but this is an objectively better car in every way from the regular 992 GT3, even in ride comfort. The STO is slower on practically every track and probably not as reliable. Of course it's not going to hold a candle to a Senna in raw pace; I would be shocked if it did and in some tracks with a professional driver it can come close. I don't think the car is worth the +100k > ADM that lots of dealers are charging and the games you have to play to get one. Closer to MSRP it makes more sense.

he has a point about...atleast have the full carbon option....most buyers would of paid 25-50k plus for that option......but everything about this car is design for performance not aesthetics especially the secction on the hood...the designer even said in a interview\....its not the most aesthetic feature on the car but it adds down force and air flow...so it doesnt matter
Comparing to the Senna which is almost $1M more around the extent of use of CF 🤷🏽♂️ Rest assured the 2026 (hybrid) GT2RS will have CF in all those areas.

Agree 10000% PJ, I think when we saw each other last I had mentioned we had a PTS Olympic blue fairly high 313 msrp ordered. And thinking about backing out of it because of exactly what you said. I don’t understand why they put all the plastic bs, it’s not a cup car.. and the lack of HP on these cars kills me. @@salarsadri Yeah, but RS is sadly more obsessed with lap times than usability. The unicorn factor makes them unusable on track... They just become garage queens or flex cars. And it's quite shitty as a flex car as you can see here.
