He's even defeated Batman armed with Kryptonite in Lex Luthor: Man of Steel by catching him by surprise from a distance. In the Dark Knight Returns, Superman is actively holding back because he wants to apprehend Batman and bring him in. Batman relies on Superman holding back in all their fights, as if he didn't, many of their fights would end quickly.

I didn't like the series because it was all batman, dont get me wrong it looks cool but man it's just batman. Imagine flash x captain cold where the flash traveled to the zero point or the beginning of everything and his speed is so fast that it freezes everything near him. Having this cool ice powers to use with a wave at his hand. Or Martian Manhunter x Despero where Martian Manhunter tried to destroy the flame of py'tar from Despero but with his shapeshifting abilities, manhunter absorbed the dangerous flame. Giving Manhunter the abilities to shape reality and conjure demons from within the mind but forever burning in flames. So much that can be so cool my dude. Its just batman, be cooler to see it as a JLA x Injustice League type of thing.

@@OriginalXVeris Let's be honest though, Superman could EASILY do better than that IF he wanted to. Superman is able to process more than Brainiac and is smarter than Bruce, with access to more tech, he CHOOSES to just be a reporter to not be suspected as Superman.

The explosive vest is easily the best one here. Character, intelligence and competence shown extraordinarily efficiently.

I understand the whole “tie” thing when it comes to Batman V Superman by Snyder, but I definitely count that as a Batman win. No doubts about it.

@@8911145533 The entire movie is about batman slowly and consciously dehumanizing both himself and superman, right before he tries to kill him he out loud says " you were never a god, you were never even a man". How the fuck is a character experiencing character development in response to being reminded of a core memory he had otherwise suppressed stupid, it's literally basic fucking storytelling.

The grenades in BvS are also lined with lead, so Superman could not see the contents of the grenades. A theory also discusses that Batman may have put Scarecrow’s fear gas in them too because of Batman mentioning “That’s fear.”

Line being a reference to scarecrow's fear toxin makes a lot more sense than batman just trying to intimidate super man. I mean, trying to intimidate someone who can probably decapitate someone with the flick of his finger wouldn't be the best idea. It'd make sense and it'd feel like a bit of fanservice for the fans who catch the comment

there's a very easy way to Injustice Superman get his powers back, Platinum Kryptonite which is gold Kryptonite polar opposite if a depowered Kryptonian or a human comes in contact with it gives them Kryptonian powers.

The arrow is definitely my favorite because of how hard it is to make it. Batman needing a insane amount of wealth and time just for one kryptonite arrow makes it believable that kryptonite came from another planet, and it makes it more special.

I absolutely love the suicide vest story, it's perfect, shows the best parts of both heroes - Superman's amazing powers and his ability to determine truth from lie, and Batman's bold and cunning strategies of exploiting and using Superman's own STRENGTHS against him, as well as his willingness to sacrifice himself. Most of all, though, it showed that they both deeply care about protecting the weak and would never willingly harm an innocent.

I love that you watch pretty much every animated dc movie and show. Not many people talk about Brave and the Bold and the LEGO movies

batman has tons of plans for everything, that could kill any hero on the planet, and he just went rogue what will the man of steel do, now that every weapon in the world is pointed at him, all equipped with every type of kryptonite bullet on the planet?

There always seems to be a character breach or plot device that pits the two against each other. Superman is mind controlled. Superman is Soviet. Superman is a US government lackey that lasers his friend's arm off. Superman kills Joker but decides, "Hey, I'm still kinda angry." At their core, both heroes have a strong enough moral compass to not duke it out.

Everyone always overlooks that Bruce Wayne/ Batman is an insane controlled person that is a tactician. He has backup plans for hundreds of backup plans. So his genius level intellect knows exactly what to do against Superman. Yes, Superman could just use his super speed and kill Batman, or be miles away and use his heat vision to kill him, but Batman knows this and plans ahead for this. Batman's mind is his greatest weapon.

Not really, he just can't plan for certain things which is why, after all this time, we haven't seen Superman do those certain things. He's always been written, even in cases of him going evil, to be holding back. If he woke up, wanted to kill Batman and not care about any collateral damage to anyone or anything, flying halfway to the sun then picking up speed on the flight back and kinetic dropping himself on top of batman would do the job. Nothing Bruce could conceivably plan in a short enough amount of time, if at all, could handle what would be the energy release equivalent of dropping a nuke on his head. Batman can beat Superman purely because plot armor dictates that A. Superman would never go scorched earth and B. Seeing him body Batman instantly would be too expected, thus boring.

The reason that Batman wins is of course what you mentioned but you're forgetting many things 1. He's the most insanely unrealisticly plot armoured superhero character ever. He took punches from literal gods that want to kill him (darkseid for example) without a mech suit on yet is able to breathe. don't forget that one time in Batman Confidential where he beat the entire Justice League in a full on head to head combat without a contingency plan to defeat them lol (he even was faster than the flash because apparently he was able to counter flash's punch at full superspeed) and also he knocked wonder woman out with a single elbow to the head lol. 2. Superman winning againts batman would be considered boring to most 3. Batman admits that he can win against superman because Superman's always holding back, his humanity is his greatest weakness 4. For some reason Kryptonite despite being a very rare mineral that only existed in Superman's planet and that only a chunk fell to earth is apparently so common in the DC universe you could probably buy it at a Walmart 5. He's Batman, you hardly ever see him lose to anyone because a comic where Batman (a regular human without powers) gets defeated by someone with superpowers would definitely not sell as well as a comic where he beats literal gods (kind of defeats the whole purpose of a mortal making a god bleed if Batman loses to superpowered enemies)

You forgot The Batman Who Laughs using special synthetic black kryptonite that kills super man in a matter of moments, but not before driving him insane. He then kidnaps Lois and John, brings them to the watchtower, fills it with some sort of gas that nullifies Clark’s heat vision and makes his eyes bleed, then just throws the kryptonite at him. He goes mad and kills Lois and John before succumbing.

The mutant restraint collar should technically work preventing the powers from manifesting. Also soundwave should be able to beat him with an empty enegon cube since it would drain his powers. Technically any high ranking Jedi/sith should be able to without a fight cut off his powers with the force.

My favourite is turning superman's powers against himself The sonic blaster in DKR would be DEVASTATING Just imagine it, Superman is looking for batman with his super vision and hearing and then all of a sudden he gets hit from every direction by light and overwhelming noise

I think you're forgetting the most crucial detail upon why Batman always beat Superman. Because DC fans love Batman more than Superman & because the script/plot said so. As strong as Superman is he can never be stronger than the people writing him. If you want an accurate representation of what would happen if Batman & Superman actually fought, without favoritism look up Omni Man vs Darkwing. Sums it up pretty well I'd say.

Gold kryptonite surgically fused to the skull of Superman and then lead cased kryptonite nerve destroying agent placed at the center or his brain that will go off if decides move faster than 4mph or out of range of his prison.

Terrible analogy Bodybuilders are typically slow due to muscle mass and can't really fight,cause well they aren't fighters. That's not true for Superman,he is nearly as fast as he is strong and he can actually fight very well,he has stood up to Batman when he was weakend to his level or Batman was powered to his and to do that you need to be a really good fighter.Even when he was depowered to human level he stomped several thugs like a vigilante would. Also he isn't built like a bodybuilder either,he is buff yeah but normally proportioned buff.

Superman is damn powerful, it's disheartening to see that none of the comics give him an edge over batsman in the final battle. In real life Superman can kill batman in more ways than Batman can kill Superman. I'm sure of it.

Batmans plot armour is just too good which makes the story better. Superman can but batman knows superman is a good person, and that's the reason superman doesn't win, part of his character, which is why you can't say the "not holding back" part

Well they never really fought in the main cannon DC the only time they fought was like when they first met and that wasn't really a fight and the justice League buster was in the batman comic run which was kind of canon

Every good version of Superman and even some of the morally grey versions of Superman are in a constant state of self restraint to the point that day almost instinctively pull their punches. He also rarely comprehensively incorporates his broad powetset into his fighting technique.

the time superman was beaten up by Alfred in Injustice was the most memorable moment I had of the series. Alfred would do anything to protect Bruce, and he would never allow anyone to harm his family. Also when you get to the krypton arrow, the Doomsday Virus title card is briefly seen at the start.

Next video everytime superman defeated batman.

I dont get the change in the plan to take down Superman in Justice League doom. Because this plan is supposed to take down a rogue Superman, yet the plan shown hinges entirely on Superman being a nice guy. This plan would be useless on a rogue Superman.

all the plans were altered in some way, it's possible that the original plan had some other way to lure in Superman, or even kept that part open so that the method could be tailored to the which ever scenario they found themselves in.
