When you think about it, The US title raised John Cena and John returned the favor years later.

The United States Title was created in 1975 and lasted 25 years in NWA/WCW until 2000 when WCW was bought out by WWE. The WWE has only had the championship since 2000...thats 21 years. 5 more years and your point would be valid.

1 year later and not just the title, but a lot of the wrestlers who had a chance to perform in the ring with John Cena. I mean like him our hate him being in the ring with him is a big boost for every wrestler in the mid card. I still remember how excited I was for Kevin Owens. Granted back then I didn't watch NXT or anything other than wwe main roster so I didn't know KO, but damn the first match between Cena and Owens was fire.

major props to you guys for posting this. props to pacitti for doing a 2 hour voice over👍🏼
I loved Raven as a wrestler. I wish they would have done more with him. He had a very good 90s character that resonated with a lot of outcasts, however you can't always have someone winning based solely off of outside help and losing every other match.
Kinda surprised to see Lex Luger top the list but... that is some solid reasoning. It's also a good reminder of why he was so prominent in wrestling throughout much of the 80s and 90s; he was talented and more than just an impressive physique. That he was overshadowed by all-time greats like Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan should not detract from that.
Some of the best two hours I’ve spent on KZread. Educational and fun to watch. You guys did a great job on this one!

That's an urban legend. Nobody has actually ever seen a Cena match so it can't be proven.
A 2 hour video of cultaholic? Christmas has come early.
I'm surprised Ambrose is so high on the list because the only thing I really remember from it is seeing the title on him sometimes and going "oh, the title still exists." I also vividly remember one entrance where he entered with it on and tossed it somewhere before going to to the ring. Then, after the match, he didn't leave with it. I thought that even he had forgotten about.
I can’t believe how high Orlando Jordan is on this list.....

One error out of the gate: David Flair being awarded the US title preceded Russo's defection to WCW by a few months. It happened in July of 1999, while Russo didn't join the company until October. Yes, this was Bischoff booking all the way.
