1 year later and not just the title, but a lot of the wrestlers who had a chance to perform in the ring with John Cena. I mean like him our hate him being in the ring with him is a big boost for every wrestler in the mid card. I still remember how excited I was for Kevin Owens. Granted back then I didn't watch NXT or anything other than wwe main roster so I didn't know KO, but damn the first match between Cena and Owens was fire.

I loved Raven as a wrestler. I wish they would have done more with him. He had a very good 90s character that resonated with a lot of outcasts, however you can't always have someone winning based solely off of outside help and losing every other match.

  • @AusMarkus

Kinda surprised to see Lex Luger top the list but... that is some solid reasoning. It's also a good reminder of why he was so prominent in wrestling throughout much of the 80s and 90s; he was talented and more than just an impressive physique. That he was overshadowed by all-time greats like Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan should not detract from that.

Lex Luger at number 1 totally deserving. Having followed his career through the eighties and such. I totally remember the oddest loss being to Michael Hayes and winning it back on NWA World Wide on a Saturday Night late night night. Was just odd. Not much press with Hayes holding the title at the time, even on TBS.

I love that the top 10 is filled with NWA Stars. I knew Luger was gonna be #1. This is an awesome video, now, imagine doing the NWA World title history (with out going back as far as 1905) that started in 1948 as Jim Crockett Sr stared promoting wrestling which is the NWA World title we know as when we hear the name.
