The king of pigs is actually a book I recommend to people who don’t know much about 40K as you don’t need to know 8 editions worth of lore to get it or appreciate it. It’s just grim dark horror. Same as the watcher in the rain.

Not 40K, but in a series of excerpts for Warhammer Fantasy talking about how the Chaos Gods feared the future of undeath Nagash would bring, Nurgle directly says no in "a voice that flared fevers and loosened bowels across the world" after he sees a vision of his cauldron cracking.

i honestly prefer fantasy sometimes because there are other threats to the peace than just chaos. nagash is literally such a terrifying villian that wants to basically end free will. even the chaos gods if they had their way wouldn't really end free will as they live for the flow and chaos of human emotion, especially tzeetch and slaanesh would never want free will to be gone, so nagash is honestly such a terrifying evil villian that its really interesting 40k for me leans too much into chaos being the biggest threat all the time which honestly gets boring sometimes

My favorite line from any chaos god is when nurgle created the first great unclean one. Basically what happened was that a little nurgling was messing around with nurgles cauldron and fell in. Nurgle came by, but the nurgling drank all the fluid in the caldron, therefore creating the first great unclean one. The great unclean one was terrified of angering nurgle and profusely apologized to him, to which nurgle responded "my child, you are the greatest creation I have ever made"

Was looking for this. I think Majorkill didn’t read it yet, as it’s a long series. But yeah, the scene was metal as fuck. I was a bit dissapointed that Khorne was looking there just like bigger scarier Bloodthirster, but his court/throne room was cool addition to the lore.

Slaanesh could have also been 'FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK MEEEEEEEEEE' as the opposite to Khorne. Or change Slaanesh's line to 'Yes, please!' and put Khorne before them so that it seems like a direct response.

So to twist the knife even further, the Changeling is _heavily_ hinted to be Ohrmuzd Ahriman; his twin brother who fell to the flesh change. Also Ohrmuzd has quite literally being living rent free inside Azhek's head because he has partitioned his mind to hold all of the knowledge and secrets he has uncovered. He also has an Inquisitor in there.

Powerful enought demons gain self identity and free will. Sorta. At some point people may begin to consider/worship them as minor gods and that may also help them in turning against their patron god. Tzeench was also involved in it by heavily dissing Skarbrand, saying that if he is so strong then go kill Khorne, and since Khrone demons always want to fight and prove their power, the rest was easy

Tzeentch’s reward to Ahriman was a little more complex than just krumpin’ him. His reward would be completely annihilating his soul, meaning it wouldn’t go to whatever hellscape awaited him when he died. Still not great but eh.

Fabius didn't just "resist" the corruption of slaanesh. He saw slaanesh staring at him, which causes his body and brain to take actual damage... and then said that what he saw was not a god and that gods don't exist. Man straight up saw a god and said "nuh uh"

I've always seen the chaos gods as so large on a scale of consciousness that they don't have physical forms but are perceived by mortals as beings of pure emotion and thought

Imagine pissing off a Chaos God to the point as to where they possess one of your battle brothers, spawn in a horde of demons and proceed to shit talk you on how they’re gonna enjoy the next few centuries tormenting your soul. Would be a cool final stand for the last chapter of a book.

Chaos Gods being born from the sins of Earth's Middle Ages sound amusing because it would mean Big E is that grumpy old man trying to drive out those punks trying to ruin his home with a shotgun. *"GET OUT OF MY LAWN!"*

In Pawns of Chaos Tzeentch speaks directly to Dathan, thanking Dathan for betraying him, giving him the enjoyment of a rare surprise.

Kind of an important detail regarding Skarbrand. It wasn’t because he attacked Khorne and cracked his armor that he was punished, it was because he struck while Khorne’s back was turned, which is practically the highest form of sacrilege to him.

I think a video on Valerian and the Hexarchy would be pretty cool, and would very much fit Majorkill and his love of all things Custodian.

You missed a Tzeentch moment: At the end of the Grey Knight Alaric’s story a daemon named Razezzel(spelling?) failed so Tzeentch gave him a spanking telling him directly he failed

Idea for you, how did the imperium and everyone else react to the emperor being intured upon the golden throne.

Theres also a short story called king of the pigs, where nurgle corrupts a slaughterhouse worker, and speaks to him directly in his dreams. Shows a more insidious and manipulative side to nurgle, as the guy ends up offering himself and his husband as sacrifices to the grandfather, in hopes that he'd get his daughter back.

8:32 to my understanding it was something like; "how dare you attack me from behind instead of headon." Korn was more upset by the lack of good old Kornite tactics than the actual attack.

No mention of the time Slaanesh actively spoke with Fabius Bile and Dr.Bile was just like "nah, you're not real, my organs are shutting down because the wanted too"

Video idea here: I just caught up more recent vids, including the magnus ones, and I realized something. I dont think theres a lot of indepth horus heresy stuff thats summarized about all the primarchs, just the main events of a few. I knew about magnus going to the emperor and breaking the webway project, him fighting and escaping the wolves, and becoming tzeentch's. I did not realize magnus both went to terra and talked to the emperor afterwards. Theres seems to be a bit of lore about the primarchs which isnt in any summaries I've come across till now. So I was wondering if we could get a video detailing a summary of where all the primarchs were during the horus heresy and what events they took part in. I only know the biggest events like the istvan atrocity, sanguinius vs horus, vulkan arriving on terra, ferrus dying, and perturabo leaving the siege of terra. I feel like theres a lot of stuff that gets skipped over in most summaries, that I'd love to have more details on. I'm currently reading the Ciaphus Cain series, (on Choose your enemies rn) and dont know if I'll ever get to the horus heresy books. Thanks for the vids as always

Considering what each God looks like is a bit of an odd one. From art work khorne looks like a massive plate armoured knight (just spikier). Tzeench is said to be a load of eyes and mouths like some kind of warp cloud, other art shows him as more humanlike. Nurgle has been described as basically a huge great unclean one, far larger than any other, but also a wisened and kindly looking old man (in king of pigs). Slaanesh has been described in the fabius bile trilogy as looking a bit like the description of tzeench (hinting this might be all of their true forms as fabius is a non-beleiver so it might work a bit like the emperor and blanks?) Or like a keeper of secrets but with a more prominently human(or maybe eldar) like face. So out of all of them only two look like their demons, and most seem to have atleast 1 other form, with a shit load of eyes and mouths being manifested across 3 of the chaos gods: nurgle, tzeench and slaanesh hinting this may be the "true" form for all of the gods.

I don’t remember what he took it out from, but I do remember there was a part of a “worst fates” video Luetin did where Nurgle uses an imperial to speak directly to a very, very favored death guard. The imperial was not having a good time being a mouthpiece

I am not sure if canon or not but in one of the Fantasy Flight Games black crusade books there was a chick who wanted to extend her life so took up daemon summoning. She summoned a keeper of Secrets into her and absorbed its essence. Then she did it again.... And again.....until Slaanesh herself shows ups and makes her a Daemon Princess out of respect and to tell her greater demons off.

That is Canon. Her name is Ax'senaea and she is completely insane and perceives everything around her as figments of her own rebellious mind that need to be controlled. Her willfulness is only matched by her madness and that was how she could absorb greater demons and why Slaanesh gave her the nod. It's a fascinating story.

In the third Grey Knights book Tzeench also told a Greater Daemon that he was disappointed because the GD had promiced him failful souls. The GD had killed these people which were on a ship in Eyespace, and had escaped a Khornate Daemon World.

There is a scene in the end of the novel: Pawns of Chaos, where Tzeentch possesses the burnt out corpse of the protagonists friend and thanks him for betraying the god. Because all forms of betrayal please Tzeentsch, even when they thwart his plans, ESPECIALLY when they thwart his plans.

An example of a manifestation I can remember off the top of my head is in the short story Chosen of Khorne a massive Khornate host gathered in an arena so that 2 World Eater leaders could duel, and a gigantic burning demonic face appeared in the sky at one point drawing everyone's attention, which was Khorne signifying that he was watching and that the fight could get started. Man likes his sports.
