My favorite dual god warband is the Brazen Host. They are a warband that worships both Slaanesh and Khorne. The Kornates are attracted to the battle prowess and mantras of self improvement of the Slaaneshis and the Slaaneshis are attracted to the physical and martial perfection of the Khornates.

All 4 Chaos Gods would have preferred Sanginius over Horus Had their places been switched, Loyal Horus would have died on Signus Prime VERY FEW Blood Angels would still be loyal to the Emperor over Chaos Sanginius. There would be no Isstvan III

There have been thousands of space marine chapters. some cannon, some not. I am sure that plenty of them have been completely destroyed. Can you do a video on prominent chapters that no longer exist and how they died? I am sure there are plenty of badass last stands and final moments for a lot of chapters, as well as a lot of embarrassing ends too. I feel like that could be a good video.

Chaos in Fantasy are different than in 40K. For example, in 40K the warp is what grants magic. In Fantasy Tzeentch is the God of Magic.

In Warhammer Fantasy, there was a Tzeentch following Wizard who switched his allegiance to Malal in order to escape his fate. Sure he died as a result of it, but he went out on his own terms.

@@treeeyed8578 which is pretty goofy, and probably when 40k was the space themed fantasy addon. now that its more popular and distinct from fantasy, its kind of its own thing. now that 40k is our timeline (or possibly a timeline where cathars were more popular than Catholics from what ive seen) it stands that the medieval era was actually a pretty peaceful time in history all things considered. there were of course many wars, and it was somewhat chaotic, but: WW2 was far deadlier. the ancient era had many more plagues and diseases than the medieval era. Knowledge acceleration, backstabbing, and trickery were far less common in the medieval era, with most academic research going into religion, and religions with singular gods. If there was ever a time for the chaos gods to have been birthed, i would say its the classical, or pre-classical periods first, 19th to early 20th century period second. both saw massive wars, slavery, plagues, rapid technological progress, and all the things the chaos gods would feed on. both were times where divination and witchcraft were acceptable, and so psykers, though less powerful than those in present 40k, could have existed and practiced in peace (again, compared to the medieval era where persecutions of such magic users were actually persecuted with more than social stigma by the hyper-religious)

Pretty sure our Glorious Lord Huron Blackheart's affiliation is also chaos undivided, he actually goes to great lengths to specifically balance his relationships with the powers

Now I'm always asking the same question, since Khorne and Nurgle folowers is vastly different

If I HAD TO choose a chaos god I think I would actually choose Khorne cause he’s the simplest and while he’s probably the most brutal one at least your body will not be incredibly disgusting and in the case of tzeentch may even stop existing at all who knows

But I am really really really fucking disgusted by their appearance and you know the fact that they carry every disease imaginable must suck a lot. And with tzeentch why? You literally don’t know what happens, that’s like his thing it could be the best thing or the worst thing or both who knows?

As it happens, The Broken, another Chaos warband out of the Abyssal Crusade, wound up worshipping both Nurgle and Khorne at the same time. The reason they aren’t in the present setting? They had to murder like half their brothers (who refused to turn) and also had to fight the Dark Mechanicus on their space hulk for control. And oh they went up against the Smurfs. This reminds me of an idea for an undivided daemon prince I thought up once. The daemon prince gained more power by completing deeds for the chaos gods individually rather than only serving chaos undivided. This resulted in the daemon prince having more unique blessings than just default undivided.

Swapping from nurgle to slaanesh with the ecstasy of limitless soap

As Undivided I think you can switch between who benefits you the most accordingly to dedicated acts of devotion... just don't overdo it with their gifts when they fight for patronage over you, as you may share a similar fate with other greedy champions. But for the rest I think it will be hard. Slaanesh maybe could tempt/charm other gods followers to join him for a fight, but clearly afterwards they would not become his followers as you have nothing to give without first taking it back from your previous patron. And good luck with getting your soul back from any of the other Chaos gods.

Slaanesh: "Hey Khorne, I'll trade you these 2 Wyches for that Berserker!" Khorne: "I hate you...but...dancing Eldars of blood and skulls! YESSSSS!!!!" Tzeentch: "Wait, I need Wyches! I'll give you thes-..." Nurgle: "Achoooo!...mine. All your followers are belong to me." Slaanesh, Khorne, Tzeentch: "Come on, man!"

Really wish we saw more hybrid and heavily gifted chaos followers that are not in an undivided style, specifically for the gods that somewhat compliment each other like Khorne/Nurgle and Slaanesh/Tzeentch. Even just in art, there is a lot of potential for fantastic designs

In WFB, bray shamans had each eye of a different color, for two chaos gods. With beastmen also existing on 40k, they could be the ones to find that balance.

In OG Warhammer (fantasy) lore one of the like two stories with Malal/Malice. Was a Tzeentch sorcerer wanting to be free from God of Fates hold. So he went to Malal, since Malal would free you of your pacts/control by other Chaos gods...for a price.

as a heretic from the first time i heard archaon saying at tw wh 1 "i am the chosen of the gods" have a contribution to make. for every traitor/heretic the fall is very personal, so swapping is mostly because of the reasons of this fall to chaos. personally i chose undivided cause of the hatred of betrayal the astartes felt, so i ddnt need a specific aspect of this hatred, but the whole thing

If it would interest anyone in the black crusade core rulebook there are rules for switching devotion to a chaos god. Whenever you decide to switch to another god once you have fully devoted to it, by actions or buying out advances. The penalty for this is suffering a burst of corruption as well as being forced to roll twice on gifts of chaos/mutation table. You dm then chooses witch of the gifts is worst and gives it you as punishment from the god.

I dont know about switching but they can negate other gifts. For example. In one of the Caiphas Cain books, Two Khorne Berserkers tried to run at a deamon prince of Slaneesh and she negated thier rage and made them stop still, thier minds lost to bliss... which is intersting since one of Khrones gifts is resistance to pyshic powers.

Dark angels models when? Oh sorry I meant to say Angels of the Dark, or Angels in the Dark. Would love an updated Azrael.
