One theory I’ve seen about the good aspects of the Chaos gods that I found really interesting was that the Old Ones took that aspect of them to create some of the Eldaar gods. Majority of this theory stems from the similarities between the three surviving members of the Eldaar Pantheon (Cegorach, Isha, and Khaine) and the older Chaos gods (Tzeentch, Nurgle, and Khorne). Both Isha and Nurgle are both are gods of life, and Nurgle is explicitly stated as to be holding Isha in his garden. Khorne and Khaine are both gods of war who are both characterized as berserkers. Finally both Cegorach and Tzeench are tricksters, with Cegorach apparently scheming to this day in the Black library. The theory states that separating these “good” aspects of the chaos gods happened way before the current setting and because there was only the “evil” aspects left chaos became what it is today.

We just need you to stop. You're hurting the people you care about with this obsession. If you stop now then we can salvage what is left and maybe one day you can learn to accept things for what they are. They may not be perfect but that doesn't mean there is nothing to cherish. Your quest to fix everything has stopped you from seeing that not everything needs fixing. Ahriman: So you won't let me in the vault? Everyone else: ... there is no vault. I think the best example I can find of this to me is in the Beastslayer book where a Dukes brother(who is secretly a mutant and Tzeentchian follower) tries to have the duke assassinated. I do wish they did a little of fleshing out of the chaos factions, I wouldn’t mind seeing them not all be evil monsters all the time, not saying they need to be good, but the best characters to me are often tragic ones or morally ambiguous ones. Random example I can think of is Silco from Arcane, he’s still the villain but by the end of it’s a lot more questionable if he’s actually in the wrong at all. Characters like that add a layer of depth to even the “bad guys” that I think warhammer as a whole lacks, especially in the chaos v imperium department.
Congrats on 420k🎊
Hell yea majorkills gona reach his follower goal before the end of the year! Let's GOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
I love your videos major! They are hilarious as they are informative
Had an idea for a comedy novel about four greater demons who were actually nice to people on a planet in the rift and helped them alot and protected them.
I love your video dude and I got 1 of your signed calendars
One thing i want to point about the incident between fulgrim and vistaro is that the bomb he allowed to detonate was a virus bomb(which is even more based btw) and not a nuclear one as major kill said. Just want to point that out
I actually like Chaos a lot more now than the Imperium. The stories are much richer now and we evolve into the reintroduction of the Primarchs. I love the black legion based off the the talons of Horus book series and the new night lord book series, plus I really fucking dig Huron Blackheart now. Though, I’m still a huge Ezekyle fan. Ezekyle deserves more victories, like more world destroying galaxy tearing victories and give Ezekyle the same character profile as in the Black Legion and Talon of Horus or when even in the Siege of Terra series where Ezekyle straight up talked shit to Fulgrim and Angron and the. Cut Angrons feed during a zoom meeting. I loved when he failed the spear tip attack on the palace and got the shit kicked out of him and when he was teleported back to the ship he was pleading “send me back, send me back”. I fell in love with his character at that point. Make the Warmaster kick ass like he is supposed to be! Then kill his ass in an epic doomsday fight and make Huron the next Warmaster!
I can’t say I’ve ever previously heard Tzeentch pronounced as ‘Tit Snitch’.
Has there ever been a better sponsor / ad than Manscaped and this mad lad who is a literal real life Custodes? I don't think so.
Nice video Also I am so excited for the 40k TV show announcement, hoping we get some great 40k TV shows

I'm kinda glad they retconned humanity being the cause for Khorne, Tzeentch, and Nurgle. The Necrontyr and later Necrons, as well as the Eldar and Krork fighting them and just existing for millions or billions of years before we monkeys became Monkai. And the events Majorkill suggested being their births makes a lot of sense. Especially since the Eldar's g-less grape and unaliving spree caused Slasnesh's "birth". Also especially cause earlier GW said that the conquests, and literal piling of skulls, of Genghis Khan during the time of the Mongols triggered Khorne's birth, when I'm sure A LOT more sentient beings died during the War In Heaven.

Hey Majorkill. Would you please make some lore videos on the Imperial Truth, the Imperial Creed, The Ecclesiarchy, and the High Lords of Terra? Thank you.
Props for including Vistario
I think another good example of a Thousand Sons being a good guy was Iskandar Khayon, when he and a World Eater left the World Eaters ship with his crew, the man resented him for the cowardice. He asked for the names of all 50 dead World Eaters and put their names in the ships Archive to honor them. He also calls a Drukhari and a daemon wolf familiar his "Sisters." Most wholesome moments I've read from a Chaos follower yet
06:17 it's Cymar Xydia of the White consuls chapter and Vorx of the Lords of Silence warband if anyone's interested
That's a slippery slope there, mate! One way trip to the dungeons for you.
Finnaly, you are approaching the subjects I have thought about... If you are ready, I can give you knowledge about the warp and the chaos gods... (at least the one I think might be correct)

Can you making a video on the different harlequin masks?
We’re almost there. Majors only a thousand subs away from his goal of 420k!
Jago sevetar, if you can count him, total legend, it's a bit of a grey area with the night lord's, traitors but are they pledged to chaos? Easily my favourite chapter
Hey Major, left some shit in my check out bin man. I'll get back over there and checkout shortly. Fell on some hard times with holidays, but wanted to give you heads up. Take care mate.
Video on all the elder gods and why they were created by the old ones
A video on olanius and John gramaticus would be cool
Its been so many years and he hasnt changed the outro,a very ultrakill move.
Finally got my mayor kill hoodie !!!
Chivalry of Nurgle is actually a relatively prominent thing in Age of Sigmar, btw. A bunch of the Nurgle worshippers in AoS are basically chivalrous, but bloated and diseased knights, who will respect honour and they see their infection-spreading as bringing a kindness into the world. They also oftentimes act like disgusting Bretonnians whereby one prominent Nurglite leader, the Lady of Cankerwall, is somewhat seen as a "Lady of the Lake" equivalent, where Nurgle Knights will go on a pilgrimage to sip on her holy chalice full of Papa Nurgle's disease-juices, so they become fully corrupted Blightkings.
Tit Snitch is the funniest pronunciation I’ve heard yet
To be fair... The Night-Lords were skinning babies before 'falling to Chaos'
that was a nice dig at dubstep. I have to say I agree.
In one of the books there was a minor Slaanesh worshiping Eldar colony which worked like a hive mind but was mostly peaceful. Their weapons did not kill the target but worked akin to a taser.
@elduquecaradura1468

You know why their weapons were not letal, right? An eldar following Slaneesh probably is a drukhari, so yeah, peaceful on the outside, but never go "netflix and chill" with them, you'll regret it for the rest of your miserable eternity.
@Szopjale1

@@elduquecaradura1468 No, they were not drukhari and their weapons were not non-lethal to have netflix and chill. They were a different breed of Slaaneshi eldar who were connected through "harmony stones" gifted by Slaanesh. They were basically a hive mind living in peace and harmony. They aimed for perfect beauty and looked uniformed also they had all kind of fruit art etc to enjoy. Due to the hivemind connection they felt each others thoughts and pleasures etc. In the book they wanted to use the non-lethal guns to acquire and inspect the soulstones of the craftworld eldars. Once the craftworld eldars used their lethal weapons on one of them they basically told them to bug off. Also Drukhari are per se not following Slaanesh. They hate its gut even though they practice the same things and refuse to acknowledge their actions is the reason Slaanesh was born in the first place.
Ah yes a Majorkill video my day is saved!
You did it mate 420k strong 💪
I'd like to see a story about a chaos follower tryig to keep the more unsavory elements of their deity away. a khorne follower trying not to go absolutely insane with bloodlust would be nice.
I can’t remember exactly how the story goes but a real life example of this is that there was I think a commander of a panzer battalion in the Wehrmacht circa 1940 ish. So his unit was ordered to clear out a Jewish community somewhere in France, accompanied by an SS company. So as soon as his tankers reached their objective, the Panzer commander basically refused to go through with it, and instead took up defensive positions at the key bridges into the area and told the SS to go fly a kite. I can’t remember if the units ever actually exchanged fire, but I know that the Panzers bought just enough time for everyone to get out, and that the commander was executed immediately afterwards. GIVE ME MORE EXAMPLES OF THIS IN 40K! PLEASE, GW! CHAOS DO NOT HAVE TO BE ONE SIDED AWFUL PEOPLE *Deep exhale*
I have a Kornite fan character who managed to keep his cool, and actively sends non-combatants back to the imperium only killing the worthy foes who put up a fight. He even gets pissed when someone kills the innocents he sends back to the relative safety of the imperium. However, those who choose to remain become slave labor making food and weapons for the chaos warbands, and end up working in much better conditions with more luxuries than the average imperium citizen and mostly don't have to worry about getting killed since they are all unworthy foes. Additionally, they use these slave populations to recruit new chaos marines who are taught to temper the powers of khorne in a process called the forging.
@YourBoyNobody530

The character in question is a corrupted wolfen who managed to keep his sense of self when he became a wolfen in order to save his battle brothers, and ended up siding drinking the blood god flavored chaos cool aid to kick the crap out of some of Tzeench's hentai monsters. Unlike other chaos space marines he is under no illusions of his servitude to Khorne, but chooses to stay with Khorne because no matter where he goes he'll end up serving someone and at least Khorne gives him powers and is actively present when compared to the emperor.
Majorkill we would all love to know which story and character should Henry be playing
"... nose and ear trimmer I personally don't need (laughter) ...." Well, I didn't needed this too, when I was your age, child, but we will see each other in 10 years, when your fur grows and you constantly ask yourself, why and when you gained like 20 kilograms.
No mention of the Relictors? a space marine chapter that have made it their mission to use chaos AGAINST chaos. Though, they were declared as traitors and they had to flee into the eye of terror. But who knows, they might still be devoted to the emperor.
This idea has been bouncing around my brain for a bit, but a splinter group of word bearers who worship and spread the positive aspects of chaos would be a really interesting subfaction
I think it’s wild that the Night Lords who viewed their methods as the most cost effective way to sieze a world with the least amount of deaths, are the ones who didn’t fall to chaos. Like most of the night lords don’t worship chaos, which is also weird to me, considering they are prime conduits for Khorne. Like only a few night lords fell to chaos, and those that did were absolutely cracked. If sevatar became a champion of chaos, I think Kharn woulda been dead awhile ago lol
I every time he said “tzeench” I thought he was saying “tits bitch” and was talking about Slaanesh.
One person id like to mention is Cyrene Valention, confessor of the word bearers. She seems like a decent chaos worshipper
Please do a video on penitent crusades
me and my mates always called him "Zee-ch" instead of "Tic-inch".
What about the Aaron Demski-Bowden Black Legion characters? Especially Iskander Khayon. I feel like he's a pretty good example of an anti-hero "I'm making the best of a weird, bad situation" kind of character. Hell, even Abaddon in his own way had his own honor and ethics. He fought Sigismund 1v1 honorably and didn't defile him or anything after the duel was over, and by the time the black crusades started, Abaddon didn't necessarily want to just kill maim and burn, he wanted to unseat what he saw was an injust imperium and make sure his kind had a place (admittedly, the top place) in the galaxy rather than tools to be disposed of when they no longer served their purpose. He was kinda like a late feudal era Samurai in that regard. I'd even venture to say that Abaddon was more moral and honorable AFTER the heresy when his ego was bruised and he had a good long time to think on the consequences of his and Horus' hubris. He saw the messy, pitiful end to the war, and the immediate aftermath which really ingrained in him the dangers of truly giving yourself over to chaos and hardened him into someone who was capable of leading the legion. in general I feel like most of the ADB Black Legion characters are super morally grey and have their moments of nobility and that series in particular was a great example of how to build compelling villians that you sort of empathize with and want to root for as anti-heroes.
Good vid
How did the xenos view the primarchs?
@inwit594

Many view them the same way as they view normal humans. Weak and inferior beings. (Ironic, considering...) Ironic, considering some eldar are genuinely in awe of the Emperors psychic might when exposed to it, a harlequin once musing that they ought to fear the Emperor more than Slaanesh.
