My Dad used to say it was his birthday everytime he went to a particular restaurant for free cake. The one time they questioned him it was actually his birthday and he had ID on him!! 😂😂

i agree with sharenly, same face may not mean same feeling. i didnt notice anyone else but james and the 2 hosts. also, just bcuz someone laughs at a joke doesnt mean they find him funny. i do tho.

I love how funny Tim finds James, as much as i don’t like him, and think he’s a charisma black hole who makes a mocery of being a tv show host, seeing how much James can affect anyone is great

I’m not sure if it’s intentional but at 1:31 james says “I’m not made of Stone” which could be mentioning the song made of Stone by the Stone Roses that came out in 1989 hence the 80’s music genre joke

Honestly, it could be. He does a lot of hidden jokes like this that have double meanings. He also did one on Taskmaster where he made a seeming joke about something being a stone or a rock, which was just odd and funny, but it was actually a call-back to an earlier series where a man candidly asked whether something was a boulder or a big rock. He's got an incredible ability to connect things together to make multiple jokes with one statement. Like Easter eggs for those who find them.

Yeah, you're missing the context of the show. It's basically a cooking programme with interviews. People don't tend to drink or eat a lot on TV (especially the wines they often have on to taste lol)
