Ehh it's really not a good competition at that level. The kids might have less experience overall but they have more on the track. The only benefit the old guys were getting was the better cart but after they got a kid in the same kart they weren't gonna have q chance with the power to weight ratio

Watching Romy go around the track regardless of time is one of those heart melting moments. All the kids were really solid drivers and you only really saw a difference in time when the kart class changed.

As someone who has raced along side dante as part of bukc he's an absolute beast good to see he's still got it

This was so wholesome and fun to watch. I really hope to see these young drivers making headlines in the future.

Incredible how consistent and smooth 9 year old Sarah was. Mind you I was pretty consistent at Sonic 2 at that age.

JAMIE, DANTE?!?! I have raced Jamie, stood on a Club100 podium with him, barely staying in front in the race, and passed Dante on track while he tests the Club100 karts to keep them warm. And the fact you didn’t include Ben Hamilton is a crime, he is one of the fastest rental drivers there are, especially at 13/14

I went carting a while back with a classmate, we were both new to it but were pushing the best times on our second race. Weight really effects this, I'm 6'2 200 lbs he is ~6ft 135 lbs, he was able to go fully half a second faster than me, which I'd really like to contribute only to the weight difference.

Weight always matter in racing. When you weigh almost as much as the car it matters even more, but 50 extra pounds in a miata is also going to add a tenth or two to your time.

This has quickly become by far my favorite car channnel. You guys have managed to grab that magic that Top Gear had. Keep making awesome, fun videos like this

@@jarrodclyne707 I have done both! I'm actually re-modelling Milton Keynes now that I've got some experience with creating these tracks and it looks way better than V1... I'm also working on some other karting tracks too

Best tip for Go-Karting is to ask a marshall to talk you round the track. They know literally all the braking points and weird areas where there is more grip.

At 8:19, before the sponsor announcement I was 100% sure Callum said "your mass is dreadful". XD

Better than I thought, just dug out the email. Whilst most laps were slower by some margin I did pull out a 53.897 on Lap 17. Mind you it also helps when there are no yellow flags from people spinning. That was an outlier, must just have hooked it all up that lap. Not bad for 46.

This was pretty interesting but I will never forget the episode where they're actually making fun of their content because now that brings back memories

Now they have to do the budget kart challenge like they did with the cars! That would be fun

Went to Sandown earlier this year for the first time in over 15 years. I know that because they still had me on file at my old house. Just feathered the throttle into turn one. What a tart! The old me would have just gone in full beans with the old ‘Death or Glory’ approach. Lap 2 was flat, perhaps not faster but flat. Very fun track and looking forward to going back. Will see if I can dig out my lap time and see how I compare to you guys. Probably not well but I drive for the spectators with the back loose 😅

They should have had a specific weight so that the competition was fair. Make the kids carry extra weight to even the field.
