It's something with the USB cables that might be preventing the connection. I simply used a different cable after an hour of hard resetting one of the none working controllers. Now it works, and I didn't use the original PS4 cable just a different cable all together.

Happened to me wouldn't work with power reset hard reset original controller cord but plug in 2 controllers into PS4 one that works and the other you have a problem with not connecting turn on the one that works and then turn on the other that doesn't connect try switching the usb's and if u have a tool to reset the controller from the bottom in a hole try that before these steps

The same problem up until last night you got to turn off your PlayStation turn it back on go to settings go to devices go to Bluetooth devices reconnect your controller that doesn't work to it and then hold the share button and the PlayStation button down for about 10 to 15 seconds and it should if everything goes right pop up in the Bluetooth list and then you shouldn't have any problem connecting from thereon I just watch the video last night it helped me so much

I had the exact same problem five minutes ago so power off your PlayStation and literally take something like small like a a paper clip and like open it and then on the back of your controller on the bottom of L2 there’s a screwdriver hole and there’s one extra hole poke the paper clip in there for 10 seconds and then it will work

If your skeptical - the chord advise really works.... Sometimes i get the welcome to PlayStation screen , and its always randomly. This time my friend came over and i had the same problem aftwr he had left and i realized its gonna be even harder to bypass the screen with the controller not even already connected to the PlayStation... So i ended up trying more of a "data cable" as someone mentioned below... Its a usb year except its usually much longer and sturdy... Use a cable like this instead of a straight micro usb vape charger... And it should work lol

I’m literally having the exact same problem with my controller as well. I haven’t found a single video that actually shows how to fix the problem.

I have the exact same problem too but I actually did actually I held down the power button until it heard one peep and then another be shortly after and then once I turn it on it it disabled safe mode and then I did reinstall auction

I was scared for a sec then I found my original ps4 charger and used it and it worked for me

Guys this problem is caused by usb i did everything such as -resetting controller -restarting ps4 -even multiple usb cords But there’s one in game stop specifically for recharge and data transfer it’s just 10$ it’ll really save all ur time

See it’s annoying I figured it’s the usb port right because one of the ports doesn’t even work but when I plug in my usb to my controller it charges and everything so it’s so frustrating

Use a different cable you know there's different kind of cables try a sync or data cable

In the back there will be a little hole get a toothpick and put it inside until u feel a click then put it on charge than it should work

Try using different chargers. If that doesn't work try another controller. And once u do that u can go to settings>devices>Bluetooth then get YOUR controller, hold the share and home screen button at the same time but before you do that make sure your blue tooth storage is cleared and there u go

It’s basically the usb cable problem ways to fix it is 1.replace cable with a new one. 2. Easiest way is hood the ps4 power button only 1 beep. Hold until it turn off, when it is off turn back on and 1 minute later it’s gonna work. (No usb cable required) 3. If it still really does not work then throw the ps4 into wall and really should work.

Do A Hard Restart So Your Gonna Take The Power Cord Out For 15 seconds

Exactly what happened to me I just shut it off and turn it off many times by holding the power button. And took a few weeks and it finally worked for me i hope it helps out man

Hmm, go on your phone and make sure bluetooth is OFF, I’m also guessing you has pressed the back reset button on ur ps4 controller, if it still occurs we’ll try using a different usb port and diff cable

For people looking for a solution to fixing the pairing problem with the controller on and not pairing do the following ( hard power shut off (unplug the power cord ) turn it back on and use a android charger do to high quality then a regular charger , then click the ps button and it should pair

What's an Android cable

Bro turn on safe mode on the ps4, by holding the button on the ps4 light till you hear 2 beeps. Then initiliaize your ps4 with the safe mode option (option 7) then your ps4 should work. But all your data will be deleted. It worked for me.

You have to connect it to a different controller or find some way to go passed the sign in part without a controller, after you have to go to settings then devices then go to blue tooth devices of something like and then find the controller thats not working and disconnect it from the console then you can simply plug it in and play, I hope this works i have a issue with it rn and that’s mainly the solution to that problem I had

You either need a cable that can transfer data and charge or your ps4 usb ports are broken

If you have a second remote, use that one to go to your console's Bluetooth then turn on the remote you want to connect, it should pop up. Once it pops up, use your other remote to connect it. I had the same issue and thats the only way it would work.

Restart until you “ see cannot access system storage “ then if it beep once to restart your good

So every one is saying that's its the cable or the Bluetooth antenna but it isn't basically just get a toothpick and there is a little hole on the back off the ps4 controller and put the toothpick in there for 10 seconds and retry and it should work.

I was having the same problem! It's the cord. It took my a few tries with diffrent cards but I finally got it!

THIS IS LITERALLY THE SOLUTION. I KID YOU NOT😭 im so glad i tried this. i had a bunch of usb c cables lying around but none of them worked except one of them. The cable that worked was a cable that is normally used for my drawing tablet which is meant to charge the tablet/transfer data to the computer to read. So i tried this cable on the ps4 and pressed the ps button and it worked!!! try many cables to find the one that works if you’re unsure! I hope this helped. I had the same issue as the person from this video btw :)

Go into PS4 settings change the wireless settings to wired so you use the controller with the constant wire then it should work

@@f.gondascene5974 it’s a button that’s inside the controller. If you flip it over there’s a small hole u can use a paper clip or really skinny screwdriver to press down on. I’ve been trying this but it still doesn’t work sadly

Try this method it worked 100% for me 1. Turn off the console completely 2. Turn on safe mode 3. Rebuild database 4. After the rebuild it will restart and then simply go to the screen where it says” welcome back press the ps button to use the controller “ 4. Press the ps button multiple times, and restart the ps again by holding down the power button until you hear two beeps. 4. After shutdown, still keep the controller connected to the PlayStation, press the ps button. If your having this problem Get a second ps4 controller (or use remote play if you only have one contoller) and go to settings - bluetooth devices - press options on your controller and remove it - then grab your controller and hold the ps button and share button until it starts flashing - you should find your controller in bluetooth devices and select it Hope this helped 😊 + pin to show everyone?

I GOT THE SOLUTION for controller to plug in: Must use a good usb cable not a cheap one. The PS4 one works and I heard the usb cable just needs to be able to “transfer data” Even if it charges your control, you still need a good quality cable. My issue was: My controls wouldn’t plug in and my ps4 wouldn’t connect to my tv even with a working hdmi cable. What I did was : turn off ps4 Hold power button on till second beep Once your screen is on you’ll see 1-7 Click resolution and change it to whatever resolution your tv is Then take off hdmi clean hdmi port on both places Plug it in again Turn off tv a lot on and off Take off hdmi again on both parts and put it back in Then turn off ps4 Unplug the power cable and hdmi cable And then plug back everything and you should be good. If not try another tv then go back to your tv . Hope this helped .

You have to reset it for 10 seconds and then go to network and connect the controller

Maybe hold the share and Ps button to put it into pairing mode and try again

Yo hold the PlayStation button until you hear three beats after that you're in safe mode then press the PlayStation button trust me this works

Get the charging cable plug it into the controller then get a tooth pick and stick it in the tiny hole on the back then turn on the controller and do a hard reset

Yeah had the same problem changed about 4 cables and finally one worked.

Okay so I know I’m late to reply but my sister and I had the same problem trying to play fifa together so all you have to do is: at the back of the controller there’s a small hole okay so you need like a tooth pick or something and there’s a button in that whole press it down and hold it for 4 seconds okay and then reconnect the USB cable to the controller and switch the controller on if it does not work then it could be a problem with the cable as I also had to switch my cables out as well I hoped this helped or you have it fixed already 😊

I just fix the problem…the same happen to me and its the cable that youre using…try another usb cable

It’s just the cable coz there are cables who has only 2 wires but in this case you need a cable which charge and commande as well so just the issu of câble command

My ps4 wont recognize any controller but it works on my phone. I think theres a problem with the ps4 software but i cant update or reset it because i cant use the controller at all even in safe mode

Well I be damn me 2.??!!!!!! I been trying to do the same shit but for some strange reason he’s keep telling me that update my software but how can I win even sync with my PlayStation 4 now I’ve been trying to go off report problem page for the longest really wish I knew how to and maybe I can get to the settings to manage my storage

I had this pappen to me before click the power off button and get another controller if you have one, then go to settings and go to blue tooth devices, then delete all of the controllers, don't get rid of the one your using, then try connecting it with USB cable

Same thing happened to me too t really is a new usb cord turn off your PlayStation once it’s off hold the power on button for too beeps then wait for it to take you to the DualShock the press ps button then it will take you to 7 options to choose from do the 6 th one but ONLY DO IT IF YOU KNOW YOU USERNAME AND PASSWORD FOR YOUR PLAYSTATION.

if you have a second controller go to devices and forget the controller that won’t connect and then hold the ps button and share button at the same time then reconnect it

Try plugging it into the middle port that’s the data receiver port

Maybe try and find a stronger cable
