I had a 1/2 Maine Coon for 20 years that loved to go places in the truck. He hated rain and being wet though and if he got 5 drops on him you really heard about it. They're great cats!

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a fur baby is one of the most difficult things to go through!
I love to see these cats swimming and playing in the water. I've never had a cat who didn't seem to FEAR the water, as if it were a vat of acid. The closest they ever came was drinking the residual water left after draining the bathtub!

Maine Coons love the water and are natural swimmers. These guys are living their best life.

I had a Russian Blue when I was a Kid , if I didn't have the bathroom door shut when you took a bath would jump in and swim around purring the whole time.

Our rescue , Her Royal Pudness, aka Madame PussPuss, went everywhere with us. She was about 8-10 years old when we adopted her - or she adopted us. I took her for car rides along with our pugs and hounds. Madame educated 6 dogs as to who ruled the house. Madame travelled in our RV - she wanted to be with😅her tribe, us and her pugs. Using 8 years as her base age, she lived to be 22 when she died. Madame was a Maine Coon Cat - brown tabby with a gorgeous plume tail and yes, I still miss her.😊

That's awesome you've trained your cats to use leashes and like the water so they can lead an adventurous life with you....please keep their life jackets on at all times though when near any water...also, please secure them for car rides and make sure they can see outside of course (: thanks for giving them their best life ❤

I am normally not much of a cat lover. But that has more to do with the fact that I am much more of a real bird lover. But this cat breed or at least the characters of these cats. Is even cute and admirable to me. If only all cats were like that. Calm curious not afraid of water. A little playful but within limits. This cat breed or cats with this character are gods. among cats. I know that it also often depends on the owners or the sitters to what extent the behavior of the cat is determined. But it already Better. 3 to 4 quarters if the cat naturally has a calm character.

@@CuddleBuddiesChannel I don't blame you, but you probably didn't read well. Although I like / love more or less all animals. I like / love birds the most. Of all the animals I've ever met in my life both domestic and wild. I have always had the strongest emotional bond with birds. So much so that years ago I decided not to eat poultry. I even started to eat less of the rest of the meat. With good days once a week. But otherwise once every 2 to 3 weeks. Dogs and cats are often for different reasons that they have different characters. But in birds it is much more common for the same reasons.
You named him Fisher, so he was meant to like water
