They are aiming for the fight still next year, when Stipe is 63 years old
Stipe in his prime was simply excellent. But he never faced Jones and now he's out of his prime. I want to think he could beat Jones, maybe he could, but Jones is just another league from everybody.

I put gsp ahead of jones personally. Also if jones retires when the interim heavyweight champ is crowned that will say a lot I believe.

@@jordanschruder2260 I feel you, I personally put Prime Anderson Silva ahead of even both of those guys. And yea Jones isn't interested in actually running the HW division, I think he's retiring after next fight

Jones is also out of his prime. Got beaten by Reyes then beat a heavyweight with literally 0 wrestling.
