The Most AWKWARD Post-Fight Interview in MMA History?

Alistair Overeem's painfully awkward post-fight interview with Joe Rogan at UFC 203, where he claimed that he "clearly felt a tap" from Stipe Miocic during their title bout, which turned out to be false #ufc #mma #shorts

@@fabianmartinez2683 I don't get your logic at all. Why is it wrong to play it over and over? You're trying to get him to answer and there might be a thing you missed so you watch it again and again. I doubt you've thought this through at all. What you're doing is advocating for the preservation of someone's ego who was not even in the right to begin with. Or so I'm hearing, it might be different, but since it's obviously the case with the other guy and you replying and agreeing I think it's safe to say you share views.

To be fair if it was a K1 fight, he would have a chance to rematch quick. But as this is the UFC it's now very hard to make to pull this, and get another shot. In that aspect it's like Boxing, you get a really close fight with the Champ and if you didn't win. You have to restart back down a long path, that is worse then your first title shot.

No matter what, overeem in his prime can outdo and beat any guy. At his best, no one even comes close to the raw power of Overeem. He's a bit unlucky I would say considering his recent loses and people seemed to forget his legendary fights.
Overeem just gave his honest perspective while he was in the heat of the fight..no more..no less...

That wasn’t even close to the most awkward.
I don't see why that was wrong. Because the motion of moving hand happened in Overeem's peripheral vision. The change was that he didn't see it very clear.
At that moment he got knocked out again the same night.

Dont do this to Overeem. Hè is a living legend !!!!
STIPE "tapped" twice while trying to get his arm in for space during the guillotine. It's clear as day. It wasn't a "tap" but to overeem it most definitely felt like a tap because Stipe did "tap" his arm twice.
Can’t believe everyone is booing him after getting knocked out
Not a problem..he just got out a KO and gave his though..and he was wrong.. Alistar is a legend

When get caught on tape stealing boxes
I believe him, not that it actually happened, but he could easily have mistaken quick movements as a tap, I'm sure he accepted the loss
The most awkward interview is “and this is still my son!!”
When he touches the arm it could also have felt for overeem like a tap, since he didnt se what actually went on
I'm so glad they replayed that clip he's a dirty fighter.

I would tap out before before accepting the fight. So I can’t judge.
He forgot about instant replay 😆
I really don’t blame him bro had just gotten concussed probably wasn’t all there yet and they stuck a mic in his face
Miocic by emotional trauma 😂😂😂😂
I saw what looked like a tap immediately after he got him into the choke.

The man just got knocked out 😂 he dont know what is going on!
He tapped
His mind tricked him into believing what he wanted to believe. He didn't want to kill the guy and he wanted to win the fight so any gesture or touch that even seem like giving up was read by his mind as such. I'm sure he regretted saying that afterwards
