Godzilla is millions of years old. Humans will never ruin the planet. There has been 6 major extinctions that humans had nothing to do with. The earth does far more damage to itself than we could ever do.

@@sheldonwilson4450 no dagon was the one the mutos came from and he had 2014 style back spikes the spike on the axe was larger more like the 2019/2021 style back spikes

I mean, for the longest time it was thought that Kong was the last of his kind until now, with there being dozens, if not hundreds of his species under the thumb of the Skar King. I wouldn't be surprised if there are populations of Gojira living in the Hollow Earth or in those little off shoots of it we saw in Monarch. Godzilla, I guess, is just the last one that still lives on Earth as the Alpha Titan.

We need to see Godzilla specimens that haven’t received the ridiculous amounts of powerups that the current one has, because as it stands, there’s NO WAY that the Kongs were able to put up a fight if every single Godzilla was as powerful as the current Godzilla. We know that there were heavy casualties on both sides, meaning that there were numerous cases of Godzilla’s falling in battle to Kongs (such as the rival back in the ancient past), meaning that the average Godzilla would be a much closer match to an average Kong. TLDR: Kong was at a major disadvantage during GvK, going up against the most powerful Godzilla ever while being out of shape and inexperienced.

Kong fans come out with the most ridiculous excuses to equate the 2. The current Godzilla is the most powerful Gojira not counting the Space and Mecha versions and it is no contest. Get that through your heads. What Godzilla has faced in the Toho universe is not something Kong and his army put together can face. Both are great characters in their own right and Kong doesn't have to be even remotely as strong as Godzilla to be interesting. Kong is King of Hollow Earth and protector of Humanity Godzilla is King of Earth and protector of nature. Both have their own differences and functions that make them great but power wise it is not even a contest Is this some kind of American obsession? Because the rest of the world doesn't get it

My other theory is the gojira species might be hiding from the kong species due to being hunted for the scales as weaponry. So as a present elephant won't grow ivory for survival. EVOLUTION for survival of a species. That's why Godzilla always evolves more powers and he fights and defeat enemies to protect his realm. Food for thought.

This cave art was in the movie and the when the Wii tribe in the hollow earth showed them the cave art they told of space Godzilla or whatever they are calling him now. And yes shimo is a distant relative of the Godzilla family .

Honestly looking at the monsterverse as a whole all the titans are for the most part radioactive mutants, they are larger then life species that live off of high levels of radiation. There has been many cases of mutations Godzilla is has changed and grown a lot. Kong has grown. This new movie has introduced skar king and suko obviously kong species or sub species but I honestly believe it’s more likely that they are just mutated offshoots then just subspecies. As for shimo we look at Dagon he is referred to as the “lightning god” it’s probably likely that Godzilla species had different forms of breath from different evolutionary/mutation paths dagon probably actually had an electricity breath blast like ghidora. Shimo probably being a full on Godzilla species pretty much confirmed to be one of the oldest living titans had plenty of time to mutate and evolve to gain his frost breath and walk on all fours due to how big he grew. We could be or might be seeing Godzilla heading the same direction considering his arms have gotten longer he has tail spikes just like Shimo and is heading towards a more powerful evolutionary path way. As for Doug he is probably most definitely a younger baby species of the goji line I predict within 3-5 installments Godzilla will grow to massive proportions probably end up with similar stature of that of Shimo and Doug will grow to be a new Goji. Also side note but Shimo can most likely stand on two legs but because of size and stature has to be on all fours on hind legs he will absolutely tower gojira
