Yeah, only the WWE games because Stevie Ray was also in WCW/nWo Revenge as well.

Wrestle Gamia, The 101 & Smack Talks have covered this before. But having the commentary of the great Simon, makes it better.

In all the WWE Games that features overall stats, After Roman Reigns' record breaking 99 OVR in 2K23 surpassing Undertakers highest ever rating of 98 twice in SvR 2008 and 2011, there are only 3 superstars who have ever featured a 97 overall in any game. Stone Cold, John Cena and The Rock.

Well, considering he WAS one of those people who lost their jobs, I'm thinking he wasn't trying to be mean. A lot of people laugh and joke when they talk about potentially painful or awkward topics, as a way of lightening the mood and/or as a way of coping. It's something that comedians do ALL the time, and can be healthy way of coping, if done the right way with with respect and the right intentions. But whether or not that's the case or not, one thing is for sure...Simon is genuinely one of the most positive and nicest people on KZread. I can't imagine him intentionally laughing or joking about someone else's misery. Even when it comes to wrestling, he's always saying it's never a "good" thing when wrestlers are let go or fired, as wrestlers are people too and deserve to be treated as such, as getting fired is almost never a pleasant experience, especially when it's job you consider a dream job or your life's goal. So, IMO a man who says, and actually believes in, something like that wouldn't laugh at or make fun of such a horrible situation where so many people's lives, his included, were so profoundly altered by.

Luna's in-game character sprite looked more like Dog The Bounty Hunter....good ol early 90s graphics.

It’s weird cuz as a black guy I feel the same about some acts. I think it’s really about the performer and if it seems genuine to them or not. The mexicools feel a lot like r-truths early days for me, if anyone else was doing it I probably would have thought it was a racist stereotype but it felt so real you just have to love it because it’s really them. For some reason the mexicools always felt like guys you might know which really helped them

Don’t get why The Fink has been blurred and even dubbed out of 2K24, surely the WWE don’t need to request that…

Have to imagine WWE only ever uses people with Legends deals, which presumably Finkel didn’t have prior to his passing. They could work with his estate if one exists I suppose, but at that point you’ve got multiple legal teams playing e-Mail and phone tag for what is ultimately 5 total minutes of audio and video.

Kharma aka Awesome Kong from TNA appeared in two WWE games in a row despite having such limited screen time during her ‘10-13 run with the company where her only match appearance being the 2012 Royal Rumble Also Maven was supposed to appear in SVR 2006 but he removed before the game’s release. A pre-release beta of the game was uncovered where his model was discovered

Me and my friends use to play WWE day of reckoning 2 a ton and we would always randomize the computer for multi person matches and 9 times out of 10 it would land on Kenzo suzuki

I immediately thought of Vito in SVR 2007 and Vance Archer in SVR 2011.

I believe Mason Ryan was also in one of the day of reckoning games on gamecube.

I could have sworn Maven was in the GameCube wrestling games as well. If we’re being that guy 🤓 Marc Mero was Johnny B Badd in WCW Superbrawl on SNES as well.

Oh man I know its not technically WWE But I remember always using Justin Credible in the ECW game on N64. For some reason I always picked him for some reason didnt even know who he was back then I was like 4-5 years old lmao good times. what a throwback!

I'm guessing this is about their inclusions as proper wrestleable characters not not just "appearing in the game"? Because Earl Hebner was the ref in Here Comes The Pain and Fink was the announcer in the retro portions of WWE 2k14 at the very least.
